Driving at 3? I don't believe it.  He's 31 now and is STILL too short to see over the steering wheel.

it is the responsibility of the roads to adjust to his wise decisions.

didn't he also record 4 holes in one in a single round of golf?

That was his blessed father.

Un is astoundingly talented, but he can't be perfect at everything.

As Predict says, it was his father, and it was 11 holes in one and 38 under par.  So good that he quit and never played again.

North Korea Executed 15 Top Officials in 2015, South Korean Agency Says

North Korea has executed 15 high-ranking government officials this year, as its leader, Kim Jong-un, continues to struggle to establish his monolithic authority more than three years after assuming power, the South Korean intelligence agency told lawmakers on Wednesday.

Since the death of his father, Kim Jong-il, in late 2011, Mr. Kim has engineered a series of executions, purges and frequent reshuffles in the governing clique he inherited. South Korean officials said that Mr. Kim, who is believed to be in his early 30s, was resorting to a mix of terror and rewards to thwart any challenge to his inexperienced leadership.

During a closed briefing Wednesday for members of Parliament in Seoul, officials from the National Intelligence Service, the main South Korean spy agency, said Mr. Kim was believed to have ordered the execution of 68 senior officials, some by machine gun, between 2012 and last year, according to two lawmakers who attended the session.

Among the 15 officials killed this year was a North Korean vice minister, who was executed in January after complaining about Mr. Kim’s policy on forestation, the lawmakers said. In February, another vice minister in charge of economic planning was killed for objecting to Mr. Kim’s decision to change the roof design of a building under construction in Pyongyang, the North Korean capital. In March, four members of the Unhasu Orchestra, where Mr. Kim’s wife, Ri Sol-ju, once performed as a singer, were executed by firing squad on espionage charges, the lawmakers said. They did not elaborate.

”Kim Jong-un is demonstrating a leadership style that brooked no excuses for not following through with his orders,” Shin Kyoung-min, a South Korean lawmaker, told reporters, citing reports by intelligence officials. ”Those who second-guessed him are considered challenging his authority and executed to set an example for the rest,” he said.

Mr. Shin was one of two lawmakers designated by the Parliament’s intelligence committee to talk to the news media about the briefing. The National Intelligence Service declined to confirm what the two lawmakers told reporters.

North Korea executes defence chief with an anti-aircraft gun: South Korea agency

North Korea executed its defence chief by putting him in front of an anti-aircraft gun at a firing range, Seoul's National Intelligence Service told lawmakers, which would be the latest in a series of high-level purges since Kim Jong Un took charge.

Hyon Yong Chol, who headed the isolated nuclear-capable country's military, was charged with treason, including disobeying Kim and falling asleep during an event at which North Korea's young leader was present, according to South Korean lawmakers briefed in a closed-door meeting with the spy agency on Wednesday.

His execution was watched by hundreds of people, according to NIS intelligence shared with lawmakers.

North Korea said Wednesday that it has the ability to miniaturize nuclear weapons, a key step toward building nuclear missiles.

Analysts and U.S. officials have said previously that they suspected Kim Jong Un's regime was capable of the technical feat, which is needed to fit a nuclear device on the tip of a ballistic missile.

North Korean soldier walks across DMZ in bid to defect to South

A teenaged North Korean soldier walked across the world's most heavily militarized border on Monday in a bid to defect to South Korea, South Korean Defense Ministry officials said.

While there are more than a thousand defections from North Korea to South Korea every year, most defectors come via China and it is rare for a North Korean to crossing the heavily mined Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The last such crossing was in 2012.

Did Kim Jong-un have the architect behind North Korea's new airport executed because he did not like the design? Claims emerge days after leader visits new terminal

It has been claimed the chief architect of Pyongyang Airport was executed by North Korea's totalitarian leader Kim Jong-un because he disliked his designs.

Ma Won-chun, who was North Korea's director of the Designing Department of the National Defence Commission, vanished last year and was allegedly executed in November.

This coincided with a report the same month explaining how the fearsome ruler was dissatisfied with the construction of Terminal 2 at the country's capital city.

The shiny new terminal at Pyongyang International Airport is set to open on Wednesday, according to state media.

Kim thought the existing terminal was too small and shabby compared with foreign rivals.

The modern, glass-fronted building is reportedly six times larger than the old terminal - though passenger numbers are still expected to be low.

Despite the gleaming new design, the facility, reserved for international civilian flights, risks being virtually empty as Pyongyang has just a trickle of scheduled foreign flights.

North Korea Has Banned Foreign Envoys From Having Media Critical of Kim Jong Un

But isn't that pretty much everything?

Foreign diplomats are no longer allowed to keep content critical of the North Korean regime or supreme leader Kim Jong Un, according to a new ordinance.

Anything considered slanderous to the Hermit Kingdom or Kim, which could include photographs, movies, literature or files saved on phones or computers, can no longer be kept by foreign embassies or international organizations in the capital Pyongyang, reports UPI.

The U.K. has decried the ban as a violation of international standards of human rights. The ordinance, issued June 26, comes on the heels of a U.K. Foreign Office report on human rights and democracy, which classified North Korea as a “human-rights concern” for reasons including its limits on freedom of expression.

Hard to believe that 60+ years later and NK is pretty much in the same state they've always been in. And that in 2015, we're still seeing these types of dictators around.

Lol at their airport. If only a trickle of visitors go through, what's the point of selling things?

Kim Jong-Un declares preparations for war with US and South Korea

http://english.pravda.ru/news/world/30-07-2015/131527-kim-0/

Leader of the North Korea Kim Jong-Un claimed that he is getting ready to war with the USA and 'puppet South Korean regime'.

He made the statement during the Air Force drills, which as he said, were part of the preparation.

The drills were carried out on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the armistice agreement that ended the Korean war of 1950-1953.

Kim said the contest was intended to "bring about a radical turn in the drills to round off preparations for a war full of the will to settle with arms accounts with the U.S. imperialists, the chieftain of aggression, and the South Korean puppet group keen to escalate the confrontation with the fellow countrymen and that of social systems, seized with sycophancy toward the U.S.,"

He added: "Gone forever is the era when the United States blackmailed us with nukes; now the United States is no longer a source of threat and fear for us and we are the very source of fear for it."

Hmmm...he declares N. Korea is preparing for war yet...

Yes, Kim Jong Un is receiving an international peace prize

Kim Jong Un is hardly a man short on accolades – the problem is, most are given out by the North Korean state. Later this year, however, the North Korean leader will finally gain some international recognition, joining the likes of Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi and India’s Mahatma Gandhi in receiving a statesmanship award from an Indonesian-based organization.

The accolade, given out by the Bali-based Sukarno Education Foundation, honors Kim for his "peace, justice and humanity," Agence France Presse reports. The North Korean leader is due to receive the award in September.

If you don't equate Kim with "peace, justice and humility," that's understandable. North Korea is nicknamed the "hermit kingdom" for its isolation, and after three generations and almost 70 years of the Kim family dynasty, much of the world knows the country better for its violence, repression and cruelty. Last year, a United Nations investigation accused the country of human rights abuses “without any parallel in the contemporary world," pointing towards Nazi Germany to find a suitable comparison.

However the award shouldn't come as too much of a surprise: According to the Jakarta Globe, the Sukarno Education Foundation had previously given the award to Kim's grandfather, Kim Il Sung, posthumously in 2001. North Korea and Indonesia have enjoyed bilateral relations since the 1960s, established during the era of Kim Il Sung and Indonesian President Sukarno, for whom the Bali-based foundation is named.

DPRK top leader Kim Jong Un orders frontline army to enter state of war from 5pm Friday

Kim made the order at an emergency enlarged meeting of the central military commission of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, said the report.

He ordered the forces to be well armed to cope with any possible operations at any time. Kim also gave the order that the frontline area enter quasi state of war from 5 pm Friday.

U.S. military exercises with Seoul halted amid North's threats of war

The U.S. halted annual joint military exercises with South Korea on Friday amid threats of war from North Korea.

U.S. defense officials, speaking on background to the Associated Press, said they were monitoring the situation, but no further military steps had been taken.

It was unclear if the exercises — which were stopped one week early — would resume. Reuters quoted an unidentified U.S. official as calling the halt a "pre-scheduled pause."

The latest development came after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's declared Friday that his front-line troops are in a "quasi-state of war" and ordered them to prepare for battle against South Korea in response to an exchange of artillery fire along the border Thursday.
