CRobi21
Not really too worried about it. We'll be getting turf next year anyways. RG3 is allergic to grass.

superozman
There are field crews that will be working a lot of overtime to fix it, i'm sure. Not too worried. As long as Moss/Helu don't get injured. They are really the people i watch anymore...
Polo3
The same thing that would've happened had their not been a game at fedex today, we're going to lose, I'm just hoping no one gets injured. As Bonecrusher stated we're getting artificial for RGIII anyhow so its cool,

TD Riggo
This is the first I've heard that FedEx is getting artificial (CRAP) turf. 'Turf sucks! Football should be played outdoors, on REAL grass!
ejay183
This is the first I've heard that FedEx is getting artificial (CRAP) turf. 'Turf sucks! Football should be played outdoors, on REAL grass! Exactly. Of all the bad decisions the Skins franchise has made, the one thing I was always proud of was that the Skins played on grass. Hitman21ST
I like grass, I wouldn't mind field turf (with the rubber pellets), artificial turd sucks though.
MadMonkey
I like grass, So does Fred Davis and Trent Williams :evilg: I'll find ti believe the Redskins would install Artificial Turf taking into account the dangers.
skinfan2k
if RGIII is allergic to grass what happens when we play on the road?

HailGreen28
Gee, this wouldn't slow down players in a pass happy offense, would it? :evilg: Please tell me Fed Ex really isn't going artificial turf.
Slateman
if RGIII is allergic to grass what happens when we play on the road? Long sleeves. Guys, when you say "turf" its automatically assumed that it will be the rubber pellet composite stuff. It's safer and much closer to.grass than most people realize. KCClybun
Field turf is actually pretty good. It doesn't get torn up, guys don't get torn up, you can play faster on it. Most teams who play with field turn look pretty good. The only team that I think has the worst field turf field is (surprise surprise...) the Cowboys. Billion dollar stadium, ginormous, comically oversized big screen, and the leagues WORST field turf ever. The amount of guys who get knocked on that field is baffling. Remember last year in the Super Bowl, how many guys got hurt? Ridiculous.

Leonard Washington
A bad field will likely slow down Welker.
2cents
I guess the younger folks don't remember that the RFK turf at the end of the year was pretty much painted dirt.

Runs with Scissors
So when the Pats WRs/TEs do a double move,Reed Doughty will fall down. Ok.
RFKFedEx
If a lousy performance by the B&G tmrw leads to the installation of rubber turf next year I will be pissed. ---------- Post added December-10th-2011 at 09:12 PM ---------- The Steelers and Packers play on grass. Those teams don't suck.
RemoveSnyder
Go Navy! Field turf is booty. Stick with grass.

HailGreen28
Field problems???? A'int gonna matter....Going to be ugly either way.The groundskeepers need to "accidentally" overwater the field overnight. We need a quagmire to keep the Pats under 30 this game.
