ACW
Seriously with our experiences when it pertains to kickers we now know how it must feel to be chased by a massive shark in the middle of the ocean LOL. TERRIFYING!!!!!!!!!!:shark:
HapHaszard
Anyone have a credible source? Not to rain on the parade, just curious how valid this is... I haven't heard any thing on this as of right now, none of the news outlets have said anything as of this morning.

mightymouse
I can't think of the last kicker we've had that DIDN'T make me feel that same feeling. The truest thing I have heard all week!

icbmayday
I saw it on rotoworld hit 86 percent of his field goals last year wouldn't be bad for competition I'm not sold on Gano
iMeast
I can't think of the last kicker we've had that DIDN'T make me feel that same feeling. Chip Lohmiller pre-McDonald's commerical was magic. After that it got super iffy. HTTR
ouvan59
Chip Lohmiller Ironically Gano's career FG% is better than Lohmiller's.
pjfootballer
How come hes been on so many damn teams? All kickers bouce around the league. Even Gary Anderson and Morten Andersen did. I think Jason Hanson is the only kicker the Lions have had for the past 20 years.

Gibbs Hog Heaven
Good to read. ANYTHING has to be an upgrade on Gano. Welcome Shayne. If you've anything about you, the jobs yours to lose. Hail.
sportjunkie07
i must be the only one, but i love Gano. i think he is going to be a really good kicker. i dont even know why i like him, i didnt watch him at all when he was in college.
JoeSkins
He's not being brought in to compete with Gano. He's being brought in to replace the worst kicker in the NFL. Gano had the lowest percentage and was one of only two kickers to try at least three 50 yard field goals and make none of them.
scruffylookin
Ironically Gano's career FG% is better than Lohmiller's. And Shaun Suisham's beats them all......easily.

Fetus
As much as I like Gano, he missed to many and was the worst kicker in the league last year, if I recall correctly. Anyone who can come in and kick the ball and take his job or can give him enough motivation to lose his mental instability about kicking, is welcome in my book
Rocky52Mc
Excluding his first two seasons in the league with the Bills and Panthers, if any of you know of him his career was made out with the Bengals. Where since joining he has made 88% of his field goals. Was 12 for 12 last year. His longest was a 53 made in 2009. Not a power kicker, but an accurate one. 629 kickoffs for an average of a 21.2 return.
sportjunkie07
as much as people bash gano for his field goals this year (and rightfully so), the deep kickoffs were very helpful to our team. tack on five more yards with the new rule change and no one is going to be returning against gano. On the flip side, the exta five yards allows teams to de-emphasize and perhaps de-value kickoff ability since there are a ton of guys out there who will do just fine because of the rule change. I would rather have a guy with a little less leg on kickoffs and better field goal accuracy now more than ever.

Mickalino
If true Thank God.....Gano scares the heck out of me....saying 50 hail marys before EVERY ONE of his kicks got really old last year. I can't think of the last kicker we've had that DIDN'T make me feel that same feeling. Amen to that
