ABQCOWBOY
This run by Earl Campbell against the Rams. I've seen great runs, Barry Sanders type runs and even power runs by great power backs but I've never seen anything like Earl Campbell before or since. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfJybuzkMT0&feature=related
Hitman21ST
Hall made the punt returner a romantic position. One of the better ones. Old Bay
That Earl Campbell one is a thing of beauty. Blowing the guy up and having his jersey ripped off all in the same play is pretty beast.

Was getting ready to post that run by Campbell. We were talking about that run on Chritsmas day. That is the sickest run I can recall. Campbell looked like he was on a 'roid rage on that run. I'm still in awe over that beast of a run. ---------- Post added December-30th-2010 at 12:48 PM ---------- I just recently had some of the best runs in my life. Unfortunately, he is paying the price due to his punishing style. Last time I saw he could barely walk.

Skins_Fan82
Sad to hear that about Campbell. I don't know if I've ever seen somebody run like that. I vaguely remember Christin Okoyeye destroying people like that, he was a beast in Tecmo Bowl LOL. But those Campbell runs...he just eats up the contact and keeps trucking. NOM NOM NOM. thebluefood
Obviously, I never got to seem him live, but I've seen this through NFL Films a million and one times and it still makes me want to get up and shot. Seriously, who headbutts a guy like that? Every Redskins fan, young and old, has seen this one.
Tulane Skins Fan
How come all these football players had the best runs everyone has ever seen? Also, I thought people called them the "worst runs." It seems to mee having the runs is bad.

SnyderShrugged
They wouldnt rate with any of the ones posted, but I just saw Syracuse put up some awesome rush yards on Kansas St. Carter had 198 by himself and Bailey had to have at least 50 (probably more)
Burgold
For sentimental reasons, Riggo's run will always be tops in my books and one of the reason's you can tell it's tops is because when you say Riggo or Riggins' run almost every football fan knows what you are talking about. They don't even have to be Redskins' fans.
