Cambl2Moss
Was reading the "Should Portis Be In The Ring of Fame" thread, and after reading through the names, I see a few that might be missing. What players from the past do you think belong in the Ring of Fame? Also, if you think any players that are currently on the team will make it, who do you think it will be? I think that Mark Rypien, Ricky Sanders, Monte Coleman (played on 3 Skins Superbowl Teams) all should have a place in the ring.

Gibbs Hog Heaven
For services and dedication to this organization, how about Frank Herzog? 25 years or so of calling the games. How many of us grew up listening to Frank, Sonny and Sam? "Touchdown Washington Redskins" is as synonymous a three words from Frank as any player through that span. Hail. How many of us grew up listening to Frank, Sonny and Sam? "Touchdown Washington Redskins" is as synonymous a three words from Frank as any player through that span. Hail. I think we have a winner! With all due respect to Monte, Buges and Mark, I think that Frank needs to be placed there first. He is the reason (along with Sonny and Sam) why anybody would turn down the TV and listen to WMAL/WJFK on Sunday afternoon and hear Frank say TOUCHDOWN, WASHINGTON REDSKINS (of course with Sonny's insightful comments and Sam's wacky rants). There will be a time when Monte, Buges, Mark, etc. will be enshrined into the Ring of Fame, but lets give credit where its due, put Frank in the Ring of Fame, we certainly gave it to Phil Hochberg!!!! thebluefood
If Allen, Gibbs, and Lombardi are in the ring; Ray Flaherty needs to be there, too. He's a hall of fame coach just like the rest of them and lead the 'Skins to two World Championships.

GoDeep81
Cool thread! Just reading those names, especially the ones who played mid to late 80's-early 90's, is like a ride down memory lane for me.. Those teams were BAD TO THE BONE!! And every damn NFL fan on the planet knew it!!! Cant wait to see something like that again.. HAIL!
Redskin4ever
Redskins Ring of Fame Wayne Curry P.G. County Excutive, 1994-2002 How about Jack Johnson? But seriously, any of the hogs not currently in deserve to be in. When you have one unit that dominates like they did, and is know by a nickname, and was the backbone of 3 superbowls, they all should be in.
