Bozo the kKklown
In his time as Wizards GM, has Ernie ever had a second round pick work out? Just in case anyone suggests it, I don't consider Blatche as having worked out.Sheldon Mack... for other teams Jordan Clarkson... for the Lakers
Gamebreaker
The market is not giving Beal a max deal. Yeah, some underserving players got mad deals last offseason, but they're also far more durable than Brad is.
Skin'emAlive
Beal is getting paid, that's a fact and I don't mind it. But if randy and Ernie are still here.... I mind.

@DCGoldPants
Wes Matthews. Brad Beal is getting the max. I think he will too. One thing Alridge said that I forgot to mention is that in a few years what Max Deals will look like compared to now, will make it look cheap in comparison. Whatever. Here is my thought. If a NEW GM wants to give him a max deal because he and his new coach and new trainers feel that a lot of his injuries come from the way he preps and trains. Then I'm willing to accept that. Rocky21
Beal is getting the max because, if for no other reason, if you let him walk you get nothing for him.
RonArtest15
Beal getting a max isn't that big of a deal to me. It's obviously going to be given out of good faith and I do think he will improve. Getting that $ at 22 could prove to be a bargain, especially before the CBA expires.
Destino
Wes Matthews did get paid, and I think most of the league realizes that contract is looking pretty bad after one season.
RonArtest15
Wes Matthews did get paid, and I think most of the league realizes that contract is looking pretty bad after one season. Wes Matthews is also 29. Even with Beal's injury history, and potential risk with the contract, I'd feel 100% more comfortable giving him the max than someone else who is past their prime in the league. As SGP stated, hopefully that decision is made from a new GM.

Taylor703
If you let Beal walk I doubt Wall would ever re-up. He'd walk when his deal is up.
