Gibbs Hog Heaven
Shoot this is tough. How do you decide who to leave out between Sammy and Sonny? I'm gona' go with Baugh for the way he redefined the game, but I'd be ecstatic with either starting. Joey T's just honoured to be in such vaunted company. Hail. KDawg
Sonny has great numbers, as does Joe. Sammy's pale in comparison... Theismann has a Lombardi... But Baugh has something the others don't... A bust in Canton. Sammy Baugh starts. EDIT: Complete brain fart. For some reason I thought it was Rypien and not Jurgensen when I typed this post... Holy crap. Long night last night. Apologies.
thebluefood
As great as Joey T. was with the Redskins, he's not even in the same universe as Jurgy and Sammy. Sammy is, in my opinion, the greatest to play the game. I think we all know the stories, the stats, and the man. Oh, and Sonny Jurgensen is a HOF member

KDawg
Sonny has one in Canton too, so he gets my vote to start. Best part is, I know that. For some reason I thought we were talking about Rypien... Just when I typed that line... Got hit in the head a few times at MMA last night and I'm still recovering. I feel like a total schmuck for that one. He most definitely has a bust in Canton...
Hitman21ST
Sammy gets the vote for revolutionizing the position. He started at the three spots when he played, he can do it here.

Santana_Fan
I'd go with Theismann. I think Theismann played in an upgraded league, with better athletes. That may just be my own opinion, but I'll stick with it. Although back in Sammy's days, he had no choice but to play the cards he was dealt. HawaiianTime
I picked Sonny. Better overall stats and did it in less time than Sammy or Joe. I just like Sonny because he's still got that fighting Redskin Spirit. He's a straight shooter that wants to climb out of the booth and back onto the field to lead the Redskins to victory if he could.

KDawg
Slingin SammyThis guy gives you depth all over the field. Punter, DB, and of course QB Well that's not the concern. He's already been voted onto the team in all three positions, actually. We're just looking for the depth chart at this point.
Hitman21ST
Give Baugh a chance at starter, if he messes up we have amazing backups
Ax
The cool thing is, all three of these guys had what it took to be able to play in each others era. To what degree? Who knows. But they all had the physical talent, along with the brass filled testicles necessary for a QB to lead their team. It says a lot about our franchise's history. That said, in this instance, where we're picking an all time fantasy team, that would be theoretically be competing against other all time fantasy teams, you need the guy with the biggest gun under center. And that would be Christian Adolf Jurgensen III
dfbovey
Wish Sonny would have had a better team around him. Imagine that guy protected by the 1991 Hogs.
Ax
Wish Sonny would have had a better team around him. Imagine that guy protected by the 1991 Hogs. He had the offense. With the 91 defense, he may have racked up a few trophies.
SkinsCrushCowboys
voted for Sonny....tough call, Sammy was a true athelete and changed the game, played both ways, tough as nails. I grew up watching Joey T all the way to the LT incident. I never say Sonny play, but from players comments, what I have read and seen on tape, a true passer. Hiro
Went with Sonny. Probably the purest passer of the three, and a hell of an arm to guide our offense.
thebluefood
Wish Sonny would have had a better team around him. Imagine that guy protected by the 1991 Hogs. Hell, if Allen let him play and he didn't get injured in the '72 season, it's possible that the Redskins would've been the team of the 1970s (at least, in the NFC)
