veteranskinsfan
There have been rumors that Shanahan is interested in both the Skins and Cowboys. Will Shanahan have second thoughts now about coming to the Redskins?
addicted
Why would he want to come here? Money. If the money's close he will pick the better team. The lasting story about tonights game could be that Shannahan decides not to get involved in this mess no matter what Snyder offers
Monkfan63
For money you will do anything. I hope Shanny comes here and really sticks it to The Midget
TheGreatBuzz
maybe we'll be lucky and will see it as a project....like the guy that buys the classic car from the junk yard so he can polish it into a diamond
GenMgr
Yes, Shanahan still wants to come here. He already has his hand-picked GM in place. Plus with more losses he gains even more power.
tr1
I'm glad you fellas are comfortable with him jerking our collective chains around. He needs to **** or get off the pot. I say let the pukes have him.
myzhi
This game doesn't change anything. Pretty sure he already knew we have crappy team. 2-4 vs win less team to start the season didn't tell him? How about 4-9 record before game? All this game says is it's time to clean house. Jahbird
Shanny has an ego. People with egos think they can fix other people's **** fests.
yellow41
Adam Schefter reported tonight (via Twitter) Shanahan would not be going to Dallas. The sleeper is the Bears job. He has ties to the Chicago area, and obviously he has ties to their QB.

Renegade7
I bet Shanny can't wait now. At this point, he'll get the control he wants cause this team up and down looks like it needs a lot of help. This will be his team by the time he's done, not Gibbs' or Zorn's. Special K
This would actually make things more appealing, I would think. An opportunity to take part in a big overhaul.
StillUnknown
if anything, this just gives Shanahan more leverage to ask for more money at this point he could probably get 10+mil from Danny boy
Mackdaddydean
Adam Schefter just reported on Sportscenter that Shanny is NOT going to Dallas. No chance he said.
Bat~man
Adam Schefter just reported on Sportscenter that Shanny is NOT going to Dallas. No chance he said. That was the report he gave earlier. I hope he doesn't, but he could be jerking us around to get what he wants from Dallas. That would be a crappy thing to do, but it's possible. BenchBrunell
The Redskins are hopeless. That's really all I can say after sitting through this game. It doesn't matter who the next coach is. It doesn't matter what their draft number is or who they draft. They are hopeless, plain and simple.
Warhead36
I doubt tonight's game had any impact on Shanahan's decision one way or another. He would have already been aware that this is a team with plenty of holes that needs to be rebuilt. It's not like he's all of a sudden thinking, "Damn, I thought the Skins were Super Bowl contenders, but after tonight golly they're actually really bad!" Timmy Smith
The Redskins are hopeless. That's really all I can say after sitting through this game. It doesn't matter who the next coach is. It doesn't matter what their draft number is or who they draft. They are hopeless, plain and simple. Sure seems that way, agreed. But hey, it's the NFL... any team can rebuild and become competitive in a single offseason if they do it correctly. Cerrato got fired, Snyder is going to be completely hands-off next season (according to Schefter tonight on ESPN, post-game), and we have a real GM. lazarus0280
Yeah, I think now it's just waiting to the end of season. Shanny wants his son out of his contract to join him. That and I think Snyder is letting Zorn finish out the season just for the sake of how classy Zorn has acted through it all. Nothing to really be gained by bringin in shanny now and we still have to "fake" interview bunch of people for the rooney rule.
