My thoughts are my own, and i stand by them, America is in danger, and not a manufactured danger like the libs have given us about Bush. History has a way of finding out the truth, and it starts now that in the history books it will show just how justified Bush has been with his decisions, and just how ruthless and unfair the Left, and Media of this country has treated him. People have protection under the constitution to speak out, the left want to suppress opposition speech, well guess what so does Obama. So when he has done his damage to the point that even the left could or might care to speak out against, Obama will be able to shut YOU up just as well, can you say Tyranny! oops didn't think of that, sorry to late.. Well since Bush was so bad with the constitution i cant wait for Obama to take down all the restrictions Bush has put in place. That way we cant see or hear what the enemies of this country are up to, i cant wait for the escalation of terrorism on our soil because in the name of defending NON UNITED STATES citizens we put up blinders all in the name of fairness and compassion. Hard to respect a guy who won't even listen to his own candidate's wishes. Pretty much like the rest of your party. Which is why you lost. Seems to me you have two options. One, listen to what your own candidate asked of you, to try and work together with the new administration, or two, to whine and cry and thrash around like a *****, and do everything you can to keep our wheels spinning in mud. And it seems you've decided option 2 is the better one. Very difficult to find any measure of respect for that. We both know that your worst fear isn't in any of that junk you wrote. Bush once gave a State of the Union address and heard the opposition party say "we agree with everything he just said." Bush had arguably more solidarity than any President has ever had ever in the history of this country. Ever. Squandering that valuable and unprecedented faith and support is exactly what made him a lousy President. Well, that and habitually blaming someone else for it. I certainly don't expect Obama to ever have the luxury of having literally the entire nation at his back like that. (and that's saying something) George Bush, IMO allowed this recession to take place. He could have done something about fuel prices. I think that started this whole mess. You can link just about all our problems to the drastic rise in fuel prices. The fact that he comes from an oil family and that same family probably made millions during the price increases makes me even madder. We had to pay the price for a few to get more wealthy, but punishing them by taking their money is not the way to go. Obamas policies scare me, because I'm the first directly affected by these policies. I work with the rich mans toys. When the government starts to mess with the rich mans money the boat is the first thing to go. I have been a fisherman for almost 20 years. I don't what else to do. It's kind of hard to give up what you love to do something you know your going to hate and if I have to do anything but fish for a living I know I'm going to hate it. The small business man, I don't think, is going to let someone take his money away and give it to someone else. He'll tighten his belt, cut back and lay still until the next election. That means many jobs will vanish and new jobs just won't be there. This is my fear. I know many of these people and they are already talking about how they are going about moving there money and cutting back to keep their money. So, what does all this mean? Spinning wheels is what it looks like to me. If Obama can't get the money he needs from the small business owners, guess where that money is coming from. That's right, us.
