Ray Brown
after that fumble he had it seemed like he just disappeared, fine by me.
Stophovr6
He's still on the rebound. He'll probably find a new girlfriend errrr team, and do well with them towards the end of his career.
Skinz4Life12
screw him...i hope he doesnt do **** in NO. we have a much better TE in cooley
Larry Brown #43
I don't have the numbers in front of me, but anecdotally, I feel like Shockey has never been much of a thorn in our side. Even when we would lose to the Giants over the years, it usually wasn't because of Shockey. Often it was because we would turn Tiki Barber into a cross between Jim Brown and Walter Payton. Zhouse
He was played well by Horton and our LB's pretty well. I saw Horton Jam him up pretty nicely at the line a few times...disrupting his timing. Of course that helped our D-line pressure Brees. Our defense really played outstanding yesterday
Santana_Fan
Nah, it was just the defense
BigMike619
Shockey just never got it going it seemed like. Him and Brees need to get to know each others styles better. But I did like the fact that he was standing on the sidelines talking to his QB instead of being a dick and either pouting or ranting.
Cooley4President
I may be wrong, but it seems like every time we've played Shockey over the last few years I've been way more worried about him before the game than he's actually proven worthy of. Kosher Ham
I think he is still coming back from his leg injury, and hasn't been in NO long enough to have developed his timing with Brees.
D-Day
Shockey's emotions are what keep him from being as good on the field as he is in his mind. Also keep in mind that he rarely does anything against us, the skins have shut him down for years. I haven't feared him since his rookie year, he had us then but I really can't remember an above average game from him against us since then. Three biggest Skin-killing Giants in my time as a Redskin fan: Tiki Barber Amani Toomer Lawrence Taylor Next up: Brandon Jacobs

Chachie
In the meantime, NY Giant Kevin Boss has not had a reception. Is he even playing? :whoknows:

That's because of his name. There's a ton of TE's that are better that don't have the "Shockey" name.

ArmchairRedskin
We own Shockey. It's pretty much that simple. Boss was getting so much hype in the offseason because of a few catches he made in the post season. He's been invisible. The Giants may not miss Shockey, but I think they lost a lot by giving him up regardless. It'll come more to the forefront later on in the season when its not so easy to put up 300 yard games. BigMike21
Horton's first interception came from Smoot jumping Sockey's route and popping the ball up. PLus we all know about the fumble. And obviously he couldn't of blocked very well since their run game was basically nonexistent. I think they expected more.

You won't be saying that when the Giants use NO's 2nd round pick in a few months. 11 picks. I can't wait.
TD Riggo
Jermy Schlockey has always been a loser! He makes very few catches, and drops all the rest. Always has .. always will. And he's a dumbass.
Peregrine
Actually, he turns the ball over and fumbles just as well as he ever has. He hasnt lost a step!

Your tune changed since the days you argued that there was no chance of him being traded. Even if Boss does nothing the whole year the Giants are a better team without Shockey. Eli became the offensive leader once they rid themselves of Shockey.
