jpillian
Just got this email from Joe Gibbs online: Greetings! We just wanted to let you know that Joe Gibbs will be speaking tonight at the Republican National Convention. He is scheduled to speak at approximately 7:50pm EST. --The Joe Gibbs Online Team EDIT -- The time has been adjusted to 8:50pm EST (7:50 CST). This obviously due to the uproar on ES, and as a result, Joe will be only talking during half-time.

Always thought he was a man of morals and wanting what is best for people. Then I find out he is a Republican.

gunslinger5
Joe Gibbs is a Born Again Christian so naturally would be an evil, rich republican. Maybe there are more important things than ... football? Thank goodness for DVR.
TMK9973
Joe Gibbs has always been a republican. I love Gibbs and thought he was the best Football coach in the world. I also think his views on MANY things are wrong. I can bet you this much, his speach will NOT be bashing anyone.
Burgold
Come on, Joe. You saw how an overly conservative offense hurt the 'skins. You know that being conservative is bad. It limits and restricts our freedoms and our ability to succeed. Listen to the Lord. The Lord loves America. He wouldn't want you to do this. Conservatives only want to sell our nation piece by piece to China, the Saudis, and Dubai.

And Coach Zorn is a Christian conservative. Let's hope is play calling isn't.
JMS
Just got this email from Joe Gibbs online: My wife will be sorry to hear that. She will have to stop throwing objects at the TV set for the duration of Gibb's speach and she will have to be respectful too..... Who am I kidding, I'll probable watch it downstairs... SkinsNut73
..okay, what's the over/under on how many time he says McCain/Palin will "fight their guts out for you" ...have to set up the DVR for this one..
IONTOP
McCain and Palin are going to fight their guts out until November, they're super smart and I don't know if I've ever seen 2 people campaign like that...
JMS
Like high taxes, regulations and a socialist nanny state promotes freedom and prosperity. High taxes are only one part of the ratio. It's high government spending and high taxes which fiscal conservatives hate. We hate high government spending and low taxes more cause it's even more irresponsible!! As for promoting freedom, please George has weakened American Civil liberties more than any President in my life time.
