mjah
My boss couldn't care less, as long as the work gets done and clients are happy. Also, these days I work at home. So it's effortless...

the krabber
I sneak it. The default browser on my computer is IE7. I downloaded Firefox and deleted all shortcuts or references to it outside of the Program Files folder. I just run the .exe file from the Start > Run menu. Works out quite well. Fifty Gut
I’m an employee not a slave. I refuse to work for any employer that cares that I listen to Internet radio all day or that I surf the Web during down time. There is natural down time at any job. I don’t see what’s wrong with reading articles or forums at work as long as I’m productive and get all my work done. Not to mention it kills the monotony of any given day. I also work for a small business so it’s not the same as working for some huge 200 employee company that hands out novel thick books of employee guidelines. The only thing I can’t do is AIM which is considered a security risk.
ECU-ALUM
The only time I got on Extremeskins (when I could've been fired if I got caught) was when I was working at a TV Station and it was during the Dallas @ Washington game when we won 35-7. However we were running nothing but paid-advertisements and religous programming...as long as I hit the breaks on time there was no reason to be suspicious and if anyone came into the station I would've had a good two minute warning...not to mention...it was my LASTday so I didn't really care. the krabber
You realize that's not hiding anything right?I know that if we had a web monitoring program, it wouldnt hide anything. But we dont. Managers check browsing history and as long as I have Firefox hidden from plain view, they dont even think to check. They just open up IE and make sure its only been used for email or work purposes. So it hides it well enough for my purposes.
BALLz
My supervisor is a huge Skins fan. I thought about telling him to join ES but if he saw how often I posted when I was at work i might get in trouble. Selfish i know.

Checking IE browser history is pretty futile. They shouldn't even bother.
