fosback
Its just not Spags - its the fact the Giants draft DE and DL almost every year. And it shows.
Ingtar
What a spectacular defense. I have NEVER seen Brady pressured like that.
skinfan2k
Who cares about continuity? We were medicore the past few years and we need a new start and the players will respect a superbowl winning coach. They had that in Gibbs so they listened
DWinzit
Again I'm going to ask Yes Spags has had a great first season as DC!!! What makes you think he'll be a good HC?

tbarz
if the redskins hire fassel or mariucci over spags, snyder is out of his mind.

Seabee1973
If Spags is hired it will probably be a rebuilding job where a guy like Fassel and mooch can come in and guide this thing through till we bump off the dead weights
kuraitengai
All you coaches are belong to us. we'll take 'em.
kuraitengai
']Did you see Kawika Mitchell pretend to drop in coverage then blitz? Brilliant!!!! dude. that was awesome on the replay. it was a great delay blitz. we'll take him along with spags in a package deal.

Brucko
My vote is for Spags as HC. Now go get him.
kovachs
folks...do you want Fassell who hasnt coached in 2 years or the guy who just shut down the most potent offense in NFL history? This is a no brainer....even for Snyder. Dont even interview...offer the man a contract tonight Uh, he wasn't out on the field making the plays. Take away the Giants support system and replace their GM with Vinny Cerrato and the results won't be as good. You need talent to win, not just coaching. Thirtyfive2seven
Spags is a one hit wonder. I don't think we should hire him as the HC based off of this one game. That said, I fully expect Vinny and Dan to do exactly that. Sad. Really.
pscsean
he has just won the SB with a superb gameplan, lets make him ours!!!!!

brunell
the choice is EASY now. Which means SNyder won't do it.

Lavarisgod
Im not too sure its an "easy" call, the guy had a great game plan against the Pats, but this is the same guy that we beat up on for 7 out of 8 qtrs this season. That being said I would'nt be upset about him being our next head coach, but I'm not doing backflips about it either.

Samuels
You can't let this 1 game sway you. The man had a dominant passrush all year and led the 17th ranked defense while leading the league in sacks, i mean c'mon. Obviously at this point we are'nt gonna run the Jim Johnson scheme he runs when Blache is'nt familiar at all with the scheme. Blache calls a very vanilla game my cousin is a huge bears fan so i see alot of thier games he was hated. I'm not totally againest Spags but if he is the choice he shoulda been able to pick his defensive coaches atleast, probably a Eagle ast to install that attacking man 2 man scheme that they are familiar in. If its between Spags or Fassel to me thats a no brainer, Spags.
UltimateSkins
Why wouldnt you want Spags as a coach? Did you see the gameplan he put together? He shut down maybe the greatest offense in NFL history.

hobbie8046
Giants were in the bottom half of the league in defense this year (17th). Seriously guys, calm down about Spags. All the credit for this game goes to their d-line. Brady was the least accurate I have ever seen him because of them.
