itisthepitts
Man I don't like this!!!!! The last time we went after a HOT coordinator after a Superbowl win, we ended up with Norval.
Forehead
This thread may get closed, but I'll say this much before it does. I have sort of the same worry as you do, but I'll take a chance on someone defensive minded like Spags before another offensive "genius."
SprintBomb
Spags, after this half, has my vote. I agree. This guy should get a serious look.

isle-hawg
I much prefer to take my chances with Spags then Fossil as our next HC.
Curb Feeler
Was it his players in Philly and N.Y. and a good G.M. or is it his coaching style that make his defenses look good? I am curious what was his record against the Skins with his defensive squads.
GregW8705
The possible conflict between Spags and Blache might not be that big of a deal. If I remember correctly, Blache was considering retirement when Danny asked him to come back. Maybe he'd like to retire if we hire a defensive coach. I think that if Dan hadn't talked to Blache about a contingency fan for hiring a defensive coach with a differing philosophy, he'd either not have signed Blache or would have stopped considering defensive coaches.
