ybnorml
John Jansen said he's probably out for the season with a torn calf. Gibbs said both coaches will be back, no one asked about the remaining six. Be a true fan...win or lose, love the 'skins'.

One Shot
Damn, Jansen has had it rough the past few seasons. Torn achilles, broken thumbs, torn calf. Here's to a healthy O-line next season
Grimm
I think they should but Jansen on IR, there is no point on him getting hurt even worse.

jamestrash
Jansen is a great talent and hard worker, but injuries have destroyed his career. I wonder if he won't hang it up now so he can still bend down to pick his grandkids up.
Isifhan
pshh jansen sucks when hes "healthy" which isn't that often. We need to can him in the offseason. He hasn't been healthy since you were 16 years old.
Warhead36
Earlier this year Jansen looked really bad. But ever since the Carolina game when he had to go up against Peppers he's woken up. He's been very good the last few weeks. He and the rest of the OL for that matter. Put him on IR and let him rest. Do we have any young practice squad-type Tackles we can try out? Dan T.
Joe Bugel on Jansen "He might be the toughest guy I've been around in 29 years of coaching." (Just now on NBC-4 sports with George Michael.) Confirmed he's got a torn calf muscle.
stwasm
And the hits keep coming! If this is true, then I say shelve him for the season, let him recuperate, then let him come back strong next year.

Grimm
So who is the backup RT? "Veteran offensive lineman Todd Wade is listed as the backup to Jansen on the Redskins' depth chart. It's possible that the team could want to get a look at third-year lineman Jim Molinaro, the former sixth-round draft choice who has seen limited action as a pro." http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=23302
