It's very confusing trying to track Nikki's movement's and figure out what the hell she's trying to do. Is she running away, just hanging out, WTF? It seems clear they are trying to make the elder Petrelli an unsympathetic character. Beside treating his brother like crap, he admits to having a happy marriage and kids but then bones Nikki anyway. Not winning a lot of points with the home viewer. Seems like the identity of "Linderman" will be a key storyline to develop. Future Hiro was awesome...like the reference to Peter's "scar" - teaser. (Reminds me of Me, Myself, and Irene) The way the show is going though, I'm sure there is more to it. I loved seeing Hiro from the future. Speaking perfect English and looking pretty pimp. I must admit, I thought it would be a bad guy coming to get Peter. From the looks of the next show, we finally get to see what Peter's "power" is. It seems to me they are already foreshadowing that the nuclear explosion doesn't happen, but there has to be some kind of battling going on in the future for Hiro to come back like that. If you've been paying attention you would have known the instant time stopped for Peter that Hiro was there. We already know Peter's power. He's an empath, which he confirmed in an interview with TV Guide (I posted about this last week in this thread). He's able to use other peoples' powers when they are in his proximity. That's why he was able to move around freely once Hiro stopped time, why he could fly when he was with his brother, and why he could see the future in his drawing (the same power you see him using in next week's preview). I'd say Peter's He seems to be able to do what other hereos can while being around them, like Fly with his brother and manipulate time with Hiro. Hiro went back to the future to warn warn them to save her from her "dad". Or do you think that Sylar+regeneration powers would make him unstoppable?? She is obviously scared of how easily she was tracked down and stayed in Vegas to repay her debt. Nathan is definitely not likeable, but I think that is the point. She disposed of that much larger, stronger man in the elevator in about 2 seconds. - Peter's power would suck. You'd have to wait around for someone else to be able to do anything. I guess at least he could see the future around Isiac without getting high, but otherwise it would kinda suck at leave you vulnerable. - Claire killing that dude was awesome. It just seems that the characters are very bland and the Japanese dude is too nerdy. But it seems that I'm in the minority so I may be missing out. If MNF is getting you distracted, Heroes is replayed on Fridays on Sci-Fi, and on Mondays on Sci-Fi at 7 they show the previous weeks episode.... Will he be able to fly and teleport at the same time, when he's around Hiro and Nathan? That would be cool! I think Nikki is starting to learn how to control her alter ego. I wonder which Hero Mr. Bennett is going to take, Nikki or Nathan? I think Nikki's husband D.L. makes an appearence next week. There's going to be a big transformation of Hiro in five weeks. Great show, and you can see that it's moving towards something, unlike Lost, which I still love, but it only 'moving' and not necessarily moving 'towards something'. Possible spoilers ahead*********** Nikki- who's the alter ego (or what), maybe this is her ex-husband? Why? The "alter" mentioned the boy as OUR son. The "alter" led Nikki to the area to bury the thugs and there were bodies of his crew out there. The "alter" clearly has strength that Nikki wouldn't....super strength or just the strength of a man? We don't know where he is.....just need to know how he merged with her. Peter- Will eventually have a shaved head on the show (when and why I'm not sure). Producers asked Milo V. to do this and he said yes only if they would give Peter a scar as well. Rumor has it that the scar will be the result of Cylar trying to take his brain (as he's done with his other victims). Ando and Hiro- My guess (this is my speculation and nothing else) is that Ando will die sometime before the end of Season 1. Despite the comic reflief I think he'll die and Hiro won't be able to save him......maybe this leads to the less-geek more badassed future Hiro. Monhinder's friend- apparently she's a bad guy (I think most have suspected this) and has powers??? There isn't much better payout per bet than that (even at the craps table). Ok...so Cheerleader is Wolverine minus adamantium exoskeleton, slimeball older Petrelli is Angel minus the wings, Peter Petrelli is Rogue minus the lifeforce draining effects, cop dude is Jean Grey minus the telekenitic ability, stripper mom is kind of Hulkish (split personality).
