Destino
Miocic doesn't remember that it was a punch that knocked him down. Thinks it was a kick. And now Overeem is saying Miocic tapped... Something is definitely off about that fight.
Dr. Do Itch Big
Nothing off. Overeem went for a choke when he should have tried to ground and pound. Then his chin failed him like it has in the past

Des, I remember you laying it down heavy on Conor, for running from Nate in the cage. So I'm curious, what are your thoughts about all the sprinting laps that Reem ran around in the cage, away from Stipe ? I think Reem ran more laps in the 1st round, than Conor did in his whole fight vs ND. How does that make you feel ? (I sound like a Joe Rogan interview question) Seems like Conor ran because he was gassed. But rather, Reem gassed because he ran Edited September 11, 2016 by Malapropismic Depository
Destino
Overeem didn't last long enough to run more than Connor did and my feelings were made clear. I thought he was either high or not interested in winning the fight. Still do. Though I'd add that brain damage or mental illness could explain it as well. still haven't seen a guy run away and win a decision.
Dr. Do Itch Big
Condit vs Diaz. Also, DD it took Maia less time to submit Condit than for Couture to beat Toney. Are you saying the gap between Maia and Condit is greater than the gap between Couture and Toney?

Maia is like the best SUBMISSION specialist EVER, dude. Toney has weapons for fists and Couture had to make sure he'd get under that ****. Condit is a guy who will cut you up and bop you around but not knock you out with the first, second, third, or 10th clean shot he lands. Except if you're Dan Hardy and want to seesaw back and forth with hooks from the hip. Couture was never a submission specialist, he couldn't even get Sylvia while having minutes straight of back control. Fedor iced Sylvia instantly, and Fedor isn't even a BJJ guy. They both floored him right beforehand. Couture was all about pressure and grinding opponents down. And besides that - Couture went mount right away, punched him in the head over and over, then subbed him. It was the standup that took him a little to get past. How is that "sad"? I mean, he was one of the most methodical fighters ever, he executed the safest, most patient gameplan, and the fight still only took a couple of minutes. His performance wasn't "sad". The matchup was.
Dr. Do Itch Big
I think it was sad it took him 3 minutes to finish some dude who is absolutely clueless when it comes to grappling.

I know. You've made this clear, but I'm not going to keep explaining to you how much Couture owned him on the ground. So the sub didn't come right away, are dozens of punches to the head not good enough for you? He was kicking his ass. A good portion of that fight was on the feet.
