People fuming on me on other forums for my community college comments, but nothing anyone can say can convince me that your community college or a mid-major has equivalent or equal education to UCLA, USC, Wake Forest, UNC, Maryland, and Duke. I guess I don't see why you think someone teaching calculus at Duke would be any better than someone teaching calculus at a CC? We're only talking about the first 2 years of education so it's not like you're getting into incredibly advanced subjects. Smaller class sizes, more individual time with teachers, teachers know you better. I would choose CC 100 times out of 100 for my first 2 years of college.
