footballhenry
Personally, I believe he is. His analyzations are almost always have solid reasonable reasoning. He comes across extremely unbiased in almost all his predictions and such. Personally he is my favorite announcer to have call a game, with a close second being Joe Theismann. My dream team? Theismann and Aikman, with a plus them calling a Skins-Boys game. THAT would be awesome.
Tulane Skins Fan
He's not bad I agree. Also, i think Buck is great and I'm sure that helps Aikman... to tell the truth, the guys who did our game against the cardinals were both solid. I have no idea who they were, but i'm usually annoyed with everyone i hear, and not them.
Redskins4ever
Phil Simms and John Madden are the best in the business. Troy is solid, but he's doesn't come close to the two others I've mentioned. I think Bill Maas is better than Aikman.
s0crates
I can't stand Troy Aikman!:puke: Best Commentator Today: Toss up between Sonny Jurgenson and Joe Theismann.
method man
I actually like their 2 "worst" broadcast teams the best. Curt Menefee and JC Pearson Ron Pitts and Tim Ryan These two teams are very underrated and do a pretty fine job. I feel while Aikman is one of the best, Buck is an annoying prick who brings down the quality of the game. He is a reason the NFL is the No Fun League. Tarpon75
I like Aikman better than any of the aforementioned. He is informed, knowledgeble, unbiased, and doesn't talk just to hear himself speak.I think he does a very good job
Redskins4ever
Buck does the play by play for FOX. Before he came along, Pat Summerall did the play by playfor FOX. I think Buck is good but the best in my opinion is Mike Patrick with ESPN as far as play by play. Al Michaels is great, and Dick Enbeirg is legendary and is still doing a super job. willmb5
yeah i hate joe buck. kenny albert and brian baldinger are by far the worst, and when they have the skins i want to kill myself. i think aikman is definitely one of the best out there. he seems to have a respect for the skins too (probably not lavar arrington though  )
skinsmania123
My favorite is Aikman. He is a natural. Solid, unbiased analysis.
Die Hard
Theismann may aggravate the crap out of people... but to me... when he talks... I listen. The man KNOWS his stuff... and shares it. I like Aikman too though. Good commentator. And same with Moose.
altair4
Aikman makes me want to puke...but then, most all of these guys are over qualified and over paid...they're just talking heads.
s0crates
How come nobody likes Sonny?
TexasRedskinFan
Phil Simms ad John Madden are the best in the business. Troy is solid, but he's doesn't come close to the two others I've mentioned. I think Bill Maas is better than Aikman. Wow. I never knew people thought John Madden was one of the best commentators. I hear everyone (and I agree) talk about how sluggish he sounds and how everything he says is completely obvious. I personally like Al Michaels, and now that you guys mention it, Troy Aikamn isn't that bad (damnit).
ImmortalDragon
How come nobody likes Sonny? I've never heard Sonny commentate. Is he on the radio?
SoCalSkins
Matt Millen was very good, he'll probably have a job next year. Jerry Glanville was also one of my favorites. The worst all time list has to include Todd Christianson, Bill Mass and Dan Dierdorf.
RIDETHEWALRUS
I just love when Aikman is asked about the Lavar hit... Seriously though, I am surprised he is so coherent after all those concussions.
IONTOP
I'm still waiting for Joe Buck to say "Wham-a-lam-a-ding-dong" and then hit a gong like in his budwieser commercial...
just skins baby
I don't particularly care one way or the other for Aikman, but if any of you have any power, please ask the commentators to shut up when the official is making a penalty call. Too often lately, Madden especially, they talk right over the official and I have no idea what the penalty was for.
Major Harris
I've never heard Sonny commentate. Is he on the radio? kids these days don't listen to radio. you can hear sonny on 106.7 if there is no delay, it is worth turning down your tv and listening to sonny, sam, and la......uggh, i can't say it. if baldinger is on the tv broadcast, it's worth it even w/ the delay. halter91
I agree, I think the 2 Dallas guys are the best, Moose and Aikman. They both know the game and they don't seem too biased. They give respect to both teams.
EersSkins05
My opinion: Play by play guys: Best 1) Al Michaels 2) Dick Stockton (I know he messes up names sometimes, but otherwise, I enjoy him more than anyone) Worst 1) Joe Buck (worst as in most unbearable, not worst on-air skill) 2) Mike Patrick (ditto) Color Guys Best 1) John Madden (last night's analysis of Mike Vick's hand going over the pylon for a TD was something I wouldn't have known if he didn't explain it to me- which is what you want from a color guy.) He's the standard. 2) Troy Aikman Worst 1) BY FAR- Paul Maguire (I can watch replays by myself, Paul.) 2) Dan Dierdorf
