Destino
ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS, You fall exactly on the border of two political philosophies... . LIBERAL LIBERTARIAN LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles. LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties. ----------- I dispute one thing. I don't support a safety net for the reasons listed under liberal. I support it because no safety net leads to economy destroying results in the event of a long recession. If people lose everything in large numbers and no money is put into the economy to replace theirs then the economy slows down even more. This was a contributing factor to the great depression. No safety net, is bad policy.

Darth Tater
Same as usuals, straight-up libertarian. I assume by laws they are talking about those pieces of legislation the government passes? I do have issues when the State tries to create law when it should only recognize it.

pez
Centerist Halfway between liberterian and Liberal. Isnt the questions on the quiz geared toward liberterians in general- some of the questions are leading in that direction I thought it was between conservative and liberal? Per Wikipedia: In politics, centrism usually refers to the political ideal of promoting moderate policies which land in the middle ground between different political extremes. Most commonly, this is visualized as part of the one-dimensional political spectrum of Left-Right politics, with centrism landing in the middle between left-wing politics and right-wing politics. However, there is arguably more than one dimension to politics, so even the center has its own radicals as exemplified by radical centrist politics.
