  1. Yes, at Atlanta. And since Ridder sucks, wouldn't shock me if we see TH as a starter sometime during the season. That would be ... interesting, to say the least.
  2. The worst trade in franchise history was the one we did NOT make: Cousins to San Fran for the #2 overall pick in 2017. That would have likely been Mahomes or Deshaun Watson (or more likely for our numb-nuts drafting they would have probably picked Trubisky). But still ....
  3. Sadly, this is true. Yet another example of the smart football people around the league playing chess and we're stuck playing tic tac toe (and losing.) Sigh .....
  4. So Sean Payton and DeMeco Ryans are both signed today as head coaches, meanwhile we're still standing around holding our dicks and can't even hire a damn offensive coordinator.
  5. Haha me too, I LOVE my Traeger. I have the small model called the Tailgater Elite, it has foldable legs and I've brought it with me several times now to FedEx and set it up at the tailgate. (Just use a simple power inverter to hook to the battery of my truck.) Thanks for the tips!
  6. Great idea. I do already have a vac sealer. What kind of smoker do you have? Pellet? Or electric? Or a true wood-burning grill?
  7. How many pounds are those Costco packers typically? I wanted to buy a brisket today at my local Earth Fare but it was 9+ pounds. Couldn’t see buying one that big, I could feed half the Chinese army with that much meat! 😂
  8. Well, you "could".... but would for sure be at risk of spoiling certain events in the series. Maybe that's the point of this unorthodox way of introducing the episodes... Either way, it's 100% worth watching, in whatever order you choose.
  9. Yes, definitely true. It's even different on the same Netflix account if you have different user profiles... (My wife's episode order on her profile was different than mine). Pretty cool concept to be sure. I binged the entire series in a little over 24 hours.
  10. Here's the order I watched: Yellow Violet Orange Green Blue White Red Pink
  11. Kaleidoscope, brand new on Netflix. Giancarlo Esposito (actor who played Gus Fring on Breaking Bad) is the leader of a group plotting a huge bank heist. Cool thing about the show is that the episodes are not in any particular order, and in fact, every Netflix user will get a different order of episodes. And each episode deals with a time period (before, during, or after the heist). Highly recommended. But in reality, you had me at Giancarlo Esposito. Truly an incredible actor, and he nails this part cold.
  12. Sorry to derail the thread again, but I'm still learning about smoking brisket. What does "hit it with love every hour" mean? Probably going to try my first one this weekend as well. @LetThePointsSoar and @tmandoug1 please offer your input too if you have any good tips!
  13. I was there, and singing my ass off too! It was directed mostly at Cowboy fans who were leaving with still 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter, but definitely applied to Snyder as well. I talked to at least 15 people yesterday at the game (and the tailgate) who all agreed that at the beginning of the season, if you knew that Snyder would be selling the team, would you be happy going 0-17. And EVERY single person I asked this said "yes". Most said something to the effect of "**** yes!"
  14. I'll be there. Wearing my BLACK Redksins shirt to commemorate the funeral of Danny-Boy Snyder as the owner of our once-proud franchise! Bringing pounds and pounds of home-made smoked pulled-pork barbecue, buns, chips, and as many IPA's as I can fit in my cooler.
  15. Bull****. The game of the season was today and riverboat Ron got cute and changed QB. Which, might I say, was the first time in over 50 years that a coach benched a non-injured QB (not to mention a QB who had a winning record.) to put in a QB with a losing record. This is ALL on Rivera. And it damn well should cost him his job.
  16. You are right. And I agree. That's why I'm banging the drum for Howell at this point, per my other recent posts here. They just screwed up and should have gotten him meaningful snaps against the Texans and Falcons. I would take our chances this week with our rookie QB Howell against their rookie QB Purdy. But the coaching staff never gave him a shot. And that is what bothers me the most.
  17. So he reminds you of Heinicke if Heinicke actually had an NFL-level quarterback skill set? Gotcha. And I agree completely.
  18. This, this and this. I'm a UNC alum, and therefore VERY much biased, but I watched every single minute of every game this guy played in college for 3 seasons. To me, he combines everything you like about Taylor (mobility, leadership, and a little bit of **** it) , and everything you like about Wentz (arm strength, plays off schedule), while minimizing the stuff you don't like. It's likely too late now in the season but they should have gone to Howell after Taylor struggled against Atlanta. To at least see what we have... I would have liked our chances of winning at least one of the Giants games with Howell instead of Heinicke.
  19. The O Line isn't good enough to give Wentz time to make throws. He's a statue back there and will get pulverized against SF just like he did against Philly and Dallas when he started against them.
  20. That game was against the Niner's third string quarterback... which, now that I think about it, is exactly who we are playing this Saturday. So if there was EVER a time for our guy to step up and make an impact, it's certainly now... but I don't have a lot of confidence that will happen...
  21. My thoughts on the Niners game this weekend... we will need...
