  1. Semantics. Xrp is a crypto that is owned by its parent company ripple. Hence why people often call Xrp ripple. I think volsmet is saying that ripple the company will succeed but the crypto Xrp itself will not. I have never been a fan. Centralized garbage but no doubt you could make money off it.
  2. @volsmet “Studying potential for digital currency” is an oxymoron. we already have a digital currency as most fiat currencies are that way. Some countries are completely cashless. The right “cryptocurrency” has to be used; otherwise it will not differ much that what we have now except that the average world citizen will lose privacy and yield more control to the government. i do expect we trend that way unfortunately. but bitcoin is and will be an uncensorable store of value.
  3. They’re coming around.. albeit at a snails pace. they really need to fix the taxing issues in regard to cryptocurrency. It’s a nightmare. IWith the decrease in cash use and practically everyone having a smartphone, governments and large corporations have become reliant on having everyone’s information. this is a restriction on human liberty that should not be allowed to continue. This can be solved with crypto currencies but governments will fight it. Ultimately it will be up to the people to decide how much information they want others to see via their choice of network.
  4. It’s really not that difficult. If you go into someone else’s house the owner has no idea what your intentions are other than you are there for something bad. you don’t have time to sit down with a thief and ask him if he is just stealing small merchandise, whether he is armed, and whether he plans to rape and murder your wife and kids. unfortunately, you can’t protect yourself in many states, which is just a shame. Why do you think there are so many people for gun rights? It is for stupid situations like these where liberals get in charge of things and take away freedoms that should be given to every citizen.
  5. Good job Trump and US forces that carried out the attack.
  6. Won't matter. Burrow completed 78% of his passes this seasom and won the heisman. Someone will trade up for him if we don't wind up taking him ourselves.
  7. Yeah that's why I said maybe... On second thought, there really might be too many top options at wr. I'll have to take a closer look at wr. Jeudy's stutter step move is something special though.
  8. Well yeah. That's what I was saying. I was hoping it wouldn't go that way because I thought Kyle was innovative and a smart playcaller.. even in the days with mcnabb, beck, and friends. What they did with rg3 was magical.
  9. I'm actually OK with it for Simmons + another player. And maybe even juedy + another. If they take a tackle I will be doing the same as you.
  10. I loved kyle and was hoping he would be our coach when shanahan retired.. unfortunately, the rg3 situation and his and his dad's name getting dragged through the mud burnt any chance of that. With Mcvay and lefleur it was difficult to tell because you couldn't tell if they were ultimately responsible for the teams success. And even now in lefeur''s case.. I'm not giving him too much credit when you have the best qb of this generation on your team. With KOC it is once again difficult to tell what he really brings to the table; and the offenses that he have been apart of have been bad. Realistically, he has not shown a real reason to be kept or promoted though on the flipside, he might not have had enough leeway to get things done the way he wanted.
  11. I don't care personally if KOC stays or goes. I like him overall as a guy but our offense was dreadful the entire season and no player/coach should be given a spot for next yeat outside of McLaurin. I could care less if he goes on to coach well at a perrenial powerhouse, there has been zero evidence to show that koc could turn around a bad offense here. I will say that if there is indication of a power struggle between haskins/koc/Rivera than Rivera will need to make a change.
  12. Not a terrible deal as long as we can reasonably get out of it. he is young, fits well with our plodding offense, and is one of the more talented ones in the league.
  13. So the Texas gunman was declared mentally insane.. so that's cool I guess.
  14. Kinda interesting how exchanges are pairing digital currencies to fiat, and now offering apr rates like a bank. Inevitably, this will lead to all fiat currencies having a digital pair with bitcoin being the world reserve currency/store of value.
  15. Were headed to the hospital soon for our first baby. He will be a world series baby. My family are nats fans and I'm an astros fan since I live in Houston and the wife's family are all stos fans as well. I have baby clothes for both. I don't really know what to do.
  16. Man you know that was coachspeak though. We had no options, what is the coach gonna say?.. "this guy sucks, now let's rally behind him."
  17. Its all good man, a lot of people were sketpical and i cant blame them with how this franchise is. Imagine mclaurin + jeudy though..
  18. That scares me on the redskins. Our players can never seem to put on weight without greatly sacrificing speed and flexibility. I'd rather have the speed.
  19. He had a play where he got completely swallowed up by an offensive lineman and the next play he took the wrong angle and gave the Eagles a huge run up the gut. Made some plays too though, kinda what I expect out of a rookie. With more experience I think he'll be good.
  20. Silver lining is that the eagles loss was only one game, but history says the madness is starting early this year.. Lets review: -projected starting linebacker out -most talented player on the team wants a divorce and will be a distraction the whole year -gm is too stubborn to handle the situation -HOF rb gets benched to make a point, what it was no one cares -rb of the future hurt again -players already mouthing off -Reed hurt -defensive cornerstone injured early -classic skins embarrassing loss. Yikes.
  21. When mclaurin was drafted i expected him to be our number 1 receiver this year. He did not disappoint. Dude nearly had a 200 yd, 2td game in his first as an NFL receiver. Refreshing. Will be interesting to see how he does when teams start to game plan around him. Harmon and quinn looked alright as well.
  22. The starting of the young receivers seems like a good long term play. I like it, and it is the type of decision the redskins don't usually pursue. Gotta risk it for the biscuit. I also agree that signing scherff is a necessity. This was a weird draft for wide recievers. There were guys with great measurable and low performance. Weak measurables and great performance. Guys who look to be one trick ponies. I feel it was a strong draft for wide recievers overall, but it was all over the place and I don't think there was a consensus best wide receiver prospect. The skins did well not to spend high picks on wide recievers. They chose 2 high character, high work ethic guys, both possesing a lot of talent. I'm looking for terry mclaurin to be the Swiss army knife that flashes occasional elite speed. I'm looking for Harmon to use his physicality to create separation. (Loved the preseason OPI's lol) If these guys can learn to do so at the pro level than our wide receiver woes are going to be forgotten very quickly.
