  1. Par for the course. Not a big deal.
  2. Poop. High risk high reward coins. Often scams. Gambling but can be fun.
  3. What is your lowcap ****coin, volsmet? And which exchange can you get it on?
  4. Best case scenario is a way for bitcoin to be much more scalable and applications that make it more user friendly. If these things happen it is game over for every other currency on earth. Bitcoin will eventually stabilize and money won't be made by holding it, but it won't matter because everything will be valued in bitcoin.
  5. Yeah that's why I edited the post.. and also because I'm not here to mock professionals in their respective fields.. even though I disagree with nearly all of them.
  6. Always. I believe that it has value. Though it is true that its dollar value mainly rises on hype, unlike tulips, its underlying value will allow it to be here in the future.
  7. If you are going to trade a market that fluctuates as wildly as crypto currency, it only makes sense that you could potentially lose heavily, especially if you know nothing about the market.
  8. Yeah I don't know for sure either. I just think we're at an early enough stage where technological advances in the crpytocurrency realm could eleviate current problems in a short time frame. I see the history of the Internet as a decent comparison.
  9. I want to point out that I wasn't referring to you btw. Just something i noticed a lot in the ES threads and on media. I could care less if people are ignorant in this regard as it allows me more time to accumulate. TechnologicaI advances might be able to solve the scalability problem, making it usable as an everyday currency. I don't see supply cap as an issue but I haven't thought about it much. I always figured with, let's say, 16 million BTC in circulation in the future, with each one divisable to a satoshi.. I figure that would be enough. We could also move on from BTC in order to solve those problems. I still see BTC as a store of value though. The only problem with moving on to cardano.. or something else, is that those crpytocurrencies are not nearly as well proven as bitcoin.
  10. Well quantum computing is potentially the biggest flaw. What I find kind of funny is that they are so many people that lack a base understanding of cryptocurrency.. then try to pass off their understanding to others. One can have an understanding of finance or economics, and have no idea what he is talking about in the crypto realm. Happens with regularity on the news networks, finance channels, and apparently on ES as well.
  11. Life will go on, even with a financial collapse and a worldwide economic depression. I suspect the collapse will be gradual until there is a triggering event. The public moved from cash to mostly plastic in my lifetime. We've got venmo, paypal, and apple pay right now. Facebook is coming out with their own cryptocurrency (not really a cryptocurrency but whatever). The public is being conditioned for a change and the current system is unsustainable.
  12. Both, I would suspect. You can use bitcoin for nefarious activity but it can be tracked. It is just difficult to track. You are better off using cash or crypto currencies other than bitcoin for true privacy.
  13. It will be much more stable when it is more trusted and has a larger market cap. Our current system will fail. It is unsustainable. It will probably happen in our lifetimes and yes, it will probably suck.
  14. It's definitely the way of the future. Blockchain in and of itself is really nothing special. It's a buzzword that is tossed around. Bitcoin is a long term store of value. Global debt continues to increase, new money is being printed worldwide, further decreasing the value of fiat. The chickens will come to roost. Bitcoin is going to look very attractive then.
  15. Good pick? I haven't watched him much but heard he was good.
  16. Impinging on freedom of speech is a slippery slope.
  17. Anderson hasn't really had the chance to make big plays. He prolly won't get many chances because of his limited atleticism. He's done all that is asked of him though. Hopefully we can use him to spend the ends and fill other roles. I'm fine with that.
  18. Theyre really pushing the mad queen thing though. I don't buy it or the stark girl's disdain for dany. Lots of terrible writing but I guess that's what happens when you have to resolve 300 storyline in 6 episodes. Just enjoying it for the ride now.
  19. I think sweat will probably be a decent pick for what we spent on him, but I have some concerns about this guy's size and lack of bend. I think he might get held up a lot by more athletic and stronger NFL tackles. Pressure is good, and i do think he is capable of applying it consistently, but we need someone to bend the edge to actually get to the qb. I don't know a ton about the NFL trends at this position so I could be wrong and maybe you don't need those traits in today's NFL. His length and speed looks like it could be very helpful for blocking passing lanes and covering the flats though. I'm not down on him, as I think he'll be a better version of preston smith immediately, I'm just tired of our larger pass rushers getting consistently held up on 3rd down while we have to gamble on whether we get the holding call or they get the pass interference call.
  20. He was overlooked and didn't get the opportunity.. the offense at Ohio state was not wr centric until his last year. Even then he had guys above him and just didn't get the targets. As far as playing goes, he was elite in a few areas. YPC, efficiency, blocking, and special teams. He became elite at essentially everything the coaches allowed him to be. Now he finally had time in the spotlight for pro day, senior bowl, and combine. What did he do? Made people look stupid and put up very good measurables. He has shown consistent improvement, has great character, and is highly coachable. The guy now has an opportunity in DC unlike what he had in college. The past says he will take advantage of that and put his potential to use. He has the potential to play x,y,slot, or a combination of all 3. I believe this guy will be the redskins no. 1 receiver this year.
  21. I've noticed your disdain. Im havent read the books.. I think the alternate theories can be fun but are more imagination than anything else. However, the show doesn't usually leave plots unfinished and i have a hunch that not enough was sacrificed to kill a menacing threat like the night king.
  22. We can't be done with the white walkers yet. It just doesn't make sense with the story that they have laid out so far in the show (I haven't read any books). Personally, the addition of a night queen near the end of a victorious battle for team dany vs. Cersie would be fitting and would lead to awesome storylines for the final episode. Also there is something special about the 3eravens tree. Almost assuredly the show will end there and the white walker storyline will be reborn.
