ah, ole lefty frizzel...one of many old wurlitzer memories..my mom worked in a diner (she ended up owning it) in anchorage right close to both military bases and as a kid after school i'd have to sit there until she got off at night...so i'd listen a lot to the juke box and peel potatoes for comic books and talk to the "g.i."s or play ball with them in the parking lot

trivia: surprisingly, this song off the soundtrack is so well mixed/mastered sound quality wise that it's awesome for showing off high end systems....

 

i like it because i can dance (ok, flail spasmodically) to it

nah, @China i'm as big a fan of Eno as anyone i guess. i like his ear. Hell of a producer.

In fact, the first one tonight is an Eno produced track by U2 performing under the name "Passengers"

 

Tonight's shenanigans brought to you by Blatz beer.

and now an up-tempo number by some special former young men doing the Ska.

 

You'd be hard pressed to find a tighter band behind their singer.

 

"Get Ready" was an outstanding album.
