TradeTheBeal!
One of the greatest human athletes ever to live and a foundational piece of modern American/Global culture. An all-timer. RIP Edited May 19, 2023 by TradeTheBeal! 2
The 12th Commandment
No doubt telling God just how it is and not mincing his words about it. A true legend and an iconic figure.
TradeTheBeal!
Here’s Brown dropping an 80 yarder and an 83 yarder on the Redskins in the same game. Ouch.
Cool Hwhip
RIP, one of the best to ever run the ball. And was great in 'I'm Gonna Git You Sucka' also. 1

PeterMP
My dad said he was the best RB ever. Payton, Emmett, and Sanders all benefitted from the hash marks being moved in 1972.
TheGreatBuzz
I didn't know this but apparently he was a top lacrosse player also.

Sportswriter Dick Schaap always liked to bring up that Brown was better at lacrosse than he was at football.
The Sisko
Jim Brown is one of my favorite players ever and a great man to boot. I assume LSF was referring to his low key support for Tя☭mp. I gave him a pass on that as I think he probably had cognitive issues that late in life. It was totally out of step with his prior body of work. 1

The Sisko
After finally finding time to look it up, I'll just have to say I don't know what rock I've been under to have not heard about those incidents.😞 That said, his support for the ***** Grabber-in-Chief makes a little more sense with that bit of background info. My opinion of him is now more in line with LSF's.
abdcskins
I am always puzzled when people get off scot-free from serious allegations. I just read about all rape and assault accusations, seems like there was more than enough evidence to throw him in jail.
The Sisko
It's that whole multi-tiered so-called justice system thing. It's a little bit better about such things now, but even today, it often takes a bunch of widespread outrage for the rich/famous/powerful to be charged and convicted of anything.
