It's also a loss for the bad guys because now he's lost all credibility as a witness and can't go on the stand (or wouldn't be a good witness) for the defense to testify for Trump

And also sends a message to those that AREN'T willing to do serious time for Trump.

New citizens learn about "rule of law".  Three simple precepts.

 

1) Everyone must obey the law

2) No one is above the law

3) The US government and its leaders must also obey the law. 

 

The Trump exception to all this is ridiculous.
