hail2skins
Mike Alstott? Ahman Green? Didn't they spell Roger Craig's name wrong? And would Portis really be in the list?

SkinsFTW
Apparently, Gore and Alstott are better than Jim Brown. I had no idea.

It's not statistically based, or Emmitt would be #1. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/rush_yds_career.htm Portis is #32 in rushing yards, just shy of 10k yards. Marshawn is just barely above him just shy of 10.5k "Where the **** is LT?" is one of the questions, along with "How the **** is Jim Brown at #12?" Also, throwback question: "Why isn't Ladell Betts/Rock Cartwright on this list instead of Portis?!" McD5/Blondie, respectively
Califan007 The Constipated
LaDainian Tomlinson 9 hours ago, Cooleyfan1993 said: If Portis is 14th all time statistically (which i think the list is based on) then why wouldn’t he be…? OP am i missing something? Is somebody’s first or last name spelled wrong? No way on God's green earth is Mike Alstott a better RB than Jim Brown, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, or damn near any of the RBs listed after him, He rushed for a grand total of 5,000 yards at 3.7 yards per carry lol...Where the hell is LaDainian Tomlinson? And that's not Tiki Barber in that photo, that's his brother Ronde Barber lol...for starters. SkinsGuy
Jim Brown at 12? Mike Alscott above him? Clinton Portis on the list but John Riggins isn't? What is Deuce McCallister doing on this list?🤔 Eric Dickerson at 20? Where did you get this list from? Edited May 13, 2022 by SkinsGuy

Not sure where it originated but I saw someone post it on Twitter asking "What's missing from this list?"...I immediately thought "Any sense of football knowledge" lol...

I sometimes think people make up crazy lists like this just to get clicks or get people talking. So I guess mission accomplished for them.

abdcskins
It's not the worst list ever with the glaring omission of Tomlinson and the dumb addition of Alstott. Green and McAllister don't belong there either.
CovingtonCommander
Marcus Allen not on this list either is a big omit. Same goes for Bo Jackson and Terrell Davis imo. Id take out Barber, Alstott, Lynch, Portis, James, and rbs 22-25. Id add John Riggins, Ladainian Tomlinson, Marcus Allen, Bo Jackson, Terrell Davis, Marion Motley, Curtis Martin, Thurman Thomas, and Franco Harris.

SkinsFTW
Dude, you have Dorsett and Bo Jackson at 8-9 but Thurman Thomas at 15. That's a little backwards. And no way is Emmitt Smith better than Barry Sanders.

Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders is close. I love Barry but Emmitt Smith was just better at getting positive yards. Then again if Barry had Emmitts oline. He might have been the GOAT.
abdcskins
Is Barry Sanders the fastest RB ever? I always remember his jukes and elusiveness, which were insane, but I was just watching some highlights, and man did that dude have jets. As soon as he saw a hole it was like, "zoom!" Absolutely nobody could catch him. There may have been technically faster RBs via 40 times (like Chris Johnson for instance), but Barry had the vision, acceleration, and stamina to outrun everybody on the field. Makes you wonder what the hell is wrong with the Lions franchise. They had two of the best offensive players ever (Sanders and Johnson) and they couldn't win diddly squat. Obviously missing other pieces.
