2024 ES GM's Mock Draft....

COWBOY-KILLA-

Recommended Posts

With the 36th pick in the 2023 NFL draft, the Dallas Cowboys select… Dalton Kincaid, TE UTAH.

The Cowboys get two of their top targets on both sides of the ball in the first two rounds. Both of them expected to be all pros at their respective positions and immediately help Dallas compete for an NFC title. With their window closing, Jerry feels that Branch and Kincaid will contribute right away and are well worth the late 3rd and 4th round picks he gave up to get them.

I was surprised to see Musgrave go before both Kincaid and Washington.  All the scouting reports I read had Mayer, Kinky, and Washington on a tier above everybody else as elite potentially generational talents.

I like Washington and Kincaid over Musgrave myself.  But, Musgrave has freakish talent too, can he stay healthy?

With pick number 39 New England selects BJ Ojulari, Edge LSU. New Engand had to come away with an edge player in this draft. Ojulari is still a bit raw. And undersized. But he is a hell of a player.

Good pick.  You knew I liked him didn't you?  I was considering him for the Saints at 40.

With the 40th pick in the draft, the New Orleans Saints select DJ Turner II, DB, Michigan

One of my favs on the draft thread for a long-time, I thought he'd last longer here but in real life on draft day he'd be right around this spot, early 2nd, after he killed the combine.

A reboot/rebuild is getting underway in LA and all good rebuilds begin with the lines.  Whether it is to protect the increasingly fragile Matthew Stafford or with an eye on the future Franchise QB we are likely going to be drafting next year it is just good sense to add some beef.

With the 41st pick in 2023 ES mock draft, the LA Rams select

Anton Harrisson, Tackle, Oklahoma
