Where is the Outrage over Boeing 737-MAX?

You don't get to say "**** happens" like it's accidental that nearly the entire food chain is contaminated because of these processors.

Well, the question of who to blame does force one to choose between blaming

1). A minimum wage employee or an untrained home cook. Or

2). A giant corporation who made big political donations, to get the laws changed to allow them to contaminate chicken with small quantities of salmonella, resulting in the number of contaminated chickens going from 0.5% to 92%, so that they could replace hundreds of career workers with robots. And who then put a disclaimer on the package reminding people to make sure that they kill the bacteria themselves.

Which did you expect him to choose.

I bet I know!

Ok, can we go back and discuss the part about the pilots not being trained?

Maybe Boeing should start packaging their services like,

Gold Package: Get to where you're going

Silver Package: You'll land more often than not

Bronze Package: Meh 5050 at best.

This is a black and white issue, I don't understand where the "blame the victim" syndrome is coming from.

Look at WHO it is coming from. He started with the presupposition that the pilots were to blame and nothing has changed.

C'mon, even those pilots were not that....or were they????

They way you make it sound they were.

The true tell about who is to blame is how Boeing has bedn forced to respond since this came to light.

IF...

it was a pilot training issue does the whole fleet get grounded?

IF...

it was a pilot training issue does Boeing begin a recall to install safety warning lights etc?

IF...

it was a pilot training issue do airlines cancel billions in plane orders?

Yet YOU keep trying to aleviate the blame from Boeing when the entire industry and world governments say you're wrong.

That was my point that these pilots weren't trained because BOEING never said it was necessary or critical.

No, no -- the actions of fellow Americans and American government agency aren't suspect -- must be something wrong with the inferior Ethiopoans and Indonesians.

And if fault is found with Boeing, its probably because that company promoted diversity over true excellence.

well, it isn’t american airlines that are having their 737 maxes falling from the sky... it’s third world countries.... so maybe you got a point, @Fergasun

Right, they must have paid for the Boeing Gold Plan where you get notified of fatal flaws in Boeing's avionics.

A reasonable and rational person would conclude that a flaw should be FIXED by the manufacturer rather than insist that people all around the globe get trained on how to react to the known fatal flaw.

For ****s sake if this was a car you just bought you'd scream for a recall and warranty work. But with Boeing your blame the car owner and hired driver.

THAT is stupid thinking, and you're doing stupid thinking.

So you mean not the pilot?

Funny how after Boeing killed a couple hundred people did they roll out what can only be described as a pretty routine recall fix. I believe experts said it would take about an hour per plane.

I hope Boeing suffers badly for this, they are not above justice, and it's clear they knew about this fatal flaw and did nothing to actually correct it.

I wonder when we'll learn the name of the son of a **** who made to decision?

This is the best summary I’ve read of the situation with Boeing (complete with potential Obama admin culpability, so twa should enjoy it).

So what you're saying is that we need less intrusive regulation that only serves to cut profits and job creation.

The bad sensor caused MCAS to react incorrectly.  The pilots could have and should have disabled the automatic trim, as previous pilots did.

its a bit rediculous to criticize a company for charging extra for extra features... Boeing offered extra safety features. The airlines (not Boeing) decided safety wasn’t a top priority for them and decided to save the money.

The airlines should not have pilots in planes if they are not trained in the different systems though.

Of course a professional pilot should be aware of significant design changes in the type planes they fly.

Like, a car that goes in the direction that the steering wheel points. Most people think that really ought to come standard.

We're not talking about a CD player here.

A commercial airliner isn’t analogous to a passenger car for a number of reasons... chiefly a mostly untrained public is in the drivers seat of a passenger car where as a highly

trained pilot is flying the plane (but not in this case apparently).

It is always the pilot if the plane can still fly with a system failure.

And yet, you consistently seem to miss the very fact that Boeing did a **** job communicating that this extra software was even on these planes. They consistently stressed the lie that these planes were all the same and minimal extra training was needed for each plane so much so that an iPad was used to train for the Max series of jet's. But yeah let's blame the ****ing pilots.

And once again you prove that you don't read the damn articles. You know what you know and a nobody gonna tell you any different. No matter what the facts are because those pesky facts just get in the way of your narrative.
