He essentially parlayed that 1/9mil option into a 2/11mil restructure (factoring in the 1 mil buyout). One interesting note (in the sea of Rendon's probably gone negativity) was an anonymous poll of 10 or so GMs by ESPN. They had Nats as the overwhelming favorites to land Rendon, fwiw.
