DM72
If there's a sport that's in trouble, it's NASCAR. Dwindling attendance and TV ratings will definetely get worse now that its most popular driver, by far, is retiring. Interesting question. Is Jr a hall of fame driver? He'll get in, but does he deserve it?
AsburySkinsFan
In my mind Junior will always be a 26 year old kid. Couldn't believe he is a year older than me, and retiring. Wish he could have done better, but he was racing in what has to be the most competitive era in NASCAR history.

True, but I believe Mark Martin was the winningest driver to not win a championship. Junior is the 5th winningest driver to not win a championship. EDIT: Martin is actually 2nd and Junior Johnson is 1st.
ShredSkins
Most Jr fans didn't watch the races anyways.

d0ublestr0ker0ll
Huge Redskins fan. 'Spect. Always felt like he was expected-of a little more than anyone because of his dad, which is ridiculously difficult to live up to. Jr is an incredible driver JUST to be in NASCAR. Same goes with R. Petty's son. Just to BE THERE, is a feat. Can't believe he's retiring, I feel old.

Busch1724
Don't forget Carl Edwards retiring too. Jimmie Johnson won't be far behind.
ShredSkins
As a Stewart fan, I didn't expect to watch many races this year. But I've only missed a couple. The quality of racing seems to have improved. It's weird not having a specific car to watch though

I've been out for a couple years, couldn't watch after Tony started to struggle. Hated that NASCAR decided to be full time IROC series. It was hard to watch after that.
