EvilMonkeyBoy
But he was perfectly fine coming back in Monday night I was excited when he came back in. It was apparent that Haslett had no idea how to stop Weeden and I knew when he came back we'd win and then the Cowboys fans would start saying that they'd have won if Weeden had played at the end. I'm pretty sure any fanbase would say their backup QB has a better shot at winning a game than the starter who was laying on the field barely to move after a shot to his back. We're seriously laughing at a guy who might be getting around in wheelchair by the time he's 50? Make fun of Dr. Jones all ya want but c'mon man. This is pretty lame. The Cowboys starting QB(I refuse to trigger that terribly immature filter) is a decent human being and I wish him no ill will.
frostyj
It is not anything that would threaten paralysis, it is mainly a comfort/pain issue. I would hate to see him be seriously injured but it doesn't seem like that type of injury. Having said that **** romoSUCKS and the cowboys! Seems like a wretched thing to have to play through/live with. I wonder with how much certainty they can guarantee the vertebrae hasn't been compromised. Bacon
Looks like you were right on: http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/11803228/tony-romo-dallas-cowboys-suffered-two-fractured-transverse-process-back IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony romoSUCKS suffered two fractured transverse process in his back in the loss to the Washington Redskins, but there remains a chance he could play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, according to multiple sources. The Cowboys and romoSUCKS have stressed this is not related to the disk surgery he had last December and is not a threat to end his season. Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty suffered a similar injury this season and missed just one game. In general, I don't find the filter especially humorous, but the idea that ESPN would call him Romo, as above, is undeniably amusing.

wysknz1
The thing is if you hurt you don't move normally. You favor certain movements and you aren't yourself. I know everyone has experienced this. Putting him out there could be worse in that scenario than just the extensiveness of the present injury. But this is the closest they've been so JJ will pull out all the stops to try to sell more R-omo (ha ha by passed it) jerseys.
Boss_Hogg
Yep Romo will be inactive today. Jerruh said Romo will play if he can tolerate the pain. We got a soap opera brewing in Dallas.

Roger.Staubach
He didn't look very good getting off that team bus. If they don't sit him through the bye week, they would be stupid. I, too, want to see why he was allowed back in. Perhaps the original x-ray machine doesn't have the clarity of one found at a full-blown medical facility?? Just curious. **speaking of which, how in the heck do your team buses collided when you have a police escort. I hope the driver didn't have something wrong with him (medically) that caused it. Absolutely no reason why romo should be on that flight to London. As far as the wreck goes. Cop leading the convoy made a wrong turn or got in an accident. The first bus stopped and the second bus hit the first.
VCDefectors
It's the beginning of the end of rSucks. One more hit to the back and he will be forced to retire. You can quote me on that. Aikman went through something similar. Had it not been for a bad back, Aikman might've played for 2-3 more seasons. Curse me now - I'm having a T.O. moment "that's my quarterback...sniff...sniff..." - Damn Redskins!!

They all should be about the same age lol Not having Leary or Free out there certainly didn't help. But I also think that the Linehan is going to have to dial up some schemes to counteract what defenses are doing. Teams are bunching at the LOS and the receivers aren't adjusting. You got to make defenses pay for gambling like that.

Without re-reading the article, I think they discovered the break in an MRI. Probably the difference since all they took in the locker room was an xray. I definitely remember someone on here saying at the time, during the game, that you can't see back injuries with x-rays so they should've known better
