terpskins10
Honest question:Is Jordan Black reallly supposed to be that much better than whoever is the next guy behind him? Seems like he hasn't performed wellenough in his limited play to warrant some of the responses in this thread. He's not good. He wasn't good when we signed him in the preseason, he hasn't been good in spot duty so far, and he wasn't all that great in Kansas City either. I scratched my head as to why he was even signed in the first place. Not a huge loss, IMO.
Chump Bailey
Chester grew up a Center.... Mo played Tackle at Florida... so I think you'd do the opposite. ; ) I think Chester has experience at RT and better feet than Hurt personally. BRAVEONTHEWARPATH93
Oh.. 6 time pro bowl tackle Tom Compton. The rookie who did not beat out Jordan Black to be the back up tackle. OK. How silly of me. you asked and that is the answer.
GhostofSparta
****, seriously? Oh well, time for Compton to step up. Maybe promote another PS guy/sign a FA for any depth at all if Polumbus' concussion is bad enough to keep him out next week.
terpskins10
Best Available Offensive Tackle Free Agents: Out of that list, probably Moll is going to be the one. IIRC, he was with us in camp.

zCommander
do you people honestly believe that everything that happens to us is because of Mara?? I honestly can't tell with some of these responses Emotions always trump logic. I am not going to lose any sleep over this.
SemperFi Skins
Two Words: Jeff Otah Free agent OT Jeff Otah is training with former Saints and Browns C LeCharles Bentley in an effort to improve his conditioning and get back in the NFL.If Otah is truly motivated to turn his career around at age 26, he certainly could help a team as a starting right tackle. He could probably even start at left tackle for some clubs. Otah is at Bentley's "O-Line Academy" in Cleveland, trying to rebuild himself. "I believe he's definitely going to be ready this season," Bentley said of Otah. "At what point in the season, I'm not sure." justice98
This is the sixth Redskins player in the last two seasons to be suspended...Black, C. Griffin, T. Jackson, T. Williams, F. Davis & Buchanon . This front office needs to get control of this team. I'd like to see somebody get Shanahan or Allen or somebody on the record about this. This is more than coincidence and must be addressed. It is interesting to note that the journeymen/free agents new to the team, probably not coincidentally, are the ones getting clipped for performance enhancing drugs. The two high draft picks confident in their skills and place on the team got clipped for weed.

Chump Bailey
Again, we have to think about scheme fit. He's a former top rated OT drafted in the 1st round - it can't hurt to take a look. I can't imagine his footwork being worse than Tyler's personally.
Ghost of
Best Available Offensive Tackle Free Agents: Whoa, that's quite the murderer's row of offensive tackles. terpskins10
so we could potentially be missing THREE OL next week? Two starters, one backup. I'd think Compton gets the start, we sign a FA tackle, and keep Gettis active while we move Lichtensteiger to C and Hurt to LG.

SemperFi Skins
Yeah, worth a shot I think too Semper... former first rounder, drafted a few slots after Orakpo in a trade up with the Eagles... Dudes got all the potential in the world if he can shake the injuries... At 26, and cheap, we may have found us a new starting RT fellas
