HeluCopter29
Multiple players believe the small mattresses at the University of Albany, most of which were provided by the Giants, may have played a role in the back injuries. Some players even brought their own mattresses to camp. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/8268790/new-york-giants-blame-training-camp-beds-numerous-back-injuries Yeah. I'm sure the mattresses are causing back injuries severe enough to keep guys out of camp.

pjfootballer
In order to cut costs, Mara has them sleeping on these: For the QBs,CBs, RBs and Safeties: For the linemen, tight ends and linebackers: For the WRs: For the Punter: For the kicker:

Commander PK
Our team is going to be punished/fined for this somehow, I just know it. I'm sure it must be due to our ****ing with the "competitive balance" of the league that their backs are sore. Maybe they can retroactively take Griffin from us also. Actually, scratch that. I'm sure we should just feel lucky that Mara allowed us to get him.
PaintballX3.com
LOL it were not for the Maras and the Rooneys the league would be a joke. When none of the big market teams wanted revenue sharing these two owners made it happen because it was good for the game. They took money out of their own pockets for decades for the benefit of the league. What has the Dan done? He robs his fans blind. That is a joke of an owner... If it wasn't for the Dan there would be a lot less revenue to share. There's a cap and a draft to level the playing field of big market vs. small market teams. Allowing revenue sharing to the point where some owners can field crappy teams on minimum salaries and sit back and collect while depriving their fans of a quality product is not good for the game, or anyone other than themselves. Dan Snyder actually spends money to try and win. He may have been misguided for a while, but he tried to produce a winner unlike some of the small market teams who rely on revenue sharing because they refuse to spend money and try. What does your comment have to do with this thread and topic anyway? Nothing.

PaintballX3.com
NFL History 101 During the early 1960s, Wellington and his brother Jack, the owners of the NFL's largest market, agreed to share television revenue on a league-wide basis, dividing the amounts of money available in cities like New York with smaller market teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. That concept of revenue sharing allowed the NFL to grow and is still being used today. This is certainly Mara's lasting contribution to his game. The franchise is now worth 1.56 billion, per Forbes. Don't forget before Snyder purchased the Redskins, the average NFL franchise was around $325mil. The NFL and the Trust that held the Redskins franchise raised the price to $800-$850mil therefore increasing the value of every NFL franchise in the league and making the NFL a ton money and increasing revenue sharing income to the lower market teams. PaintballX3.com
I don't think anyone here would argue that Snyder knows how to make money with the Redskins. He's proven he can. What he needs to learn is a balance between making money and pleasing the fanbase, especially through the completely awful game-day experience at Fedex. So you're just going to keep arguing things that are irrelevant to this thread? Snyder inherited Fed Ex, and has had big screens put in, is renovating the stadium, has put in solar panels to make the stadium more green, encourages tailgating, hired an outside company to find ways to improve the game day experience, hired Bruce Allen who has come up with various ways to improve things as well, like homecoming game this season. But to realize these things you'd have to move away from your "Dan is da worst owner evar" pov that you used to hijack a thread he had nothing to do with. elkabong82
I was answering a question, not hijacking a thread.... Nobody asked how Snyder was as an owner nor about the contributions of the Maras to the league. The thread isn't about that at all. You came in all ticked off because people were making fun of the Giants over the articel and you decided to take a cheap shot at the Skins owner instead of address the issue. Some might call that trolling.
