Truant
Congrats to him. LB is probably our best core, top to bottom. Even that rookie from FSU looked good in the preseason. Deserves a lot of credit and recognition for working with Riley, Kerrigan, and Rak. Taking two college DEs and making them solid OLBs this early in their careers... pretty nice. Fletch... eh... he'd be a beast no matter who coached him up. Good luck, Lou.
terpskins10
Aghhh that sucks. I was hoping he'd stay on and eventually become OUR DC. Good luck, Lou!
JohnnyUtah
Man, that sucks, but only b/c I wanted to keep him here. Best of luck, Lou. You'll be missed, but hopefully not that much.

Conn
Nooooo. I really loved him on this staff. Wanted him to be our DC some day, possibly. But, this is what happens when you are successful! Congrats to him.
atlSkinfan
Congrats Lou. Maybe you will be the gift that keeps on giving by helping us scout out some possible gems from the Bruins for years to come. (smile)
TSO
Nooooooooo!! He was our best assistant coach on defense... oh well, congrats Lou you traitor! :pfft:
cfm56
I wonder if they would consider bringing back Greg Manusky. He was our LB coach back in 2001. Are you in favor of retread position coaches???
Sweet Sassy Molassy
Question becomes who will replace him? I've seen Rick Venturi and heard mention of one of the Titan's D coaches being possible candidates. Don't know what the legitimacy of those claims are. HigSkin
They outta just let Fletch be a player-coach.
Dirt
Hm, as excited we are about Morris working with DBs, and hoping there is a noticeable difference next year....let's hope there isn't that inverse effect on our LBs. I happen to think London Fletcher himself would refuse to let any sort of drop in LB production happen. no matter who Lou's replacement is. MartinC
Big loss - he did a great job converting Kerrigan and the 'backers were a strength in our defense. Be interesting to see who we replace him with - needs to be a 3-4 guy.

The Tris
Wonder if Kirk Olivadotti gets promoted to LB coach? We'd have to first rehire him...
RWJ
We'd have to first rehire him... My bad. We lost him last year. The question remains who then.
Hitman21ST
Any word on whether we'll be promoting internally or looking outside? I wouldn't mind looking to the Steelers, Texans, Broncos, or 49ers for someone from their staff...

GWinSkins83
Atleast we know what school to get our 3-4 LBs from. Or should I say Defensive players from. They will already know our scheme.

CoolHandLuke
Terrible news for us. Unless he comes back to replace Haslett when Kyle takes over as HC.

SWFLSkins
They outta just let Fletch be a player-coach. He'd spend all his time yelling and miss out on some of those tackles. hahaha
