I've found a new favorite place to watch the games I can't make it to. Bobby Ray's Place here in Pennsauken, NJ. Big place, awesome burgers, good wings, a ton of different brews on tap, and they had Sunday Ticket and put the game on for me and my son. Awesome, friendly folk. And sure, they are Eagles fans, but right near the end of the 'skins game a group of Cowboys fans came in and the owner told them that no way was he playing the Dallas game in his bar. That makes them damn alright in my book. If you are in south jersey or Philly area and need a place to watch games, that's my new spot for away games. Right here I wont hide. And I was wrong about nothing I said. I love this team and it feels great being 2-0 but this was ugly and A LOT needs to be corrected if we want to win next week. - Not being able to punch it in in the RZ is nothing new. Its plagued this team for years. - A blocked FG is inexcusable, should NEVER happen. - Coming out flat the second half defensively. We didnt last week and it was a pleasant surprise but this week was retroskins style 2nd half defense. - Rex needs to stop forcing balls. Mistakes are magnified in the redzone. Taking points off the board is the easiest way to lose a game. Good teams do not leave that many points on the board and put the ball in the endzone. Yes I admit I thought we were going to lose. It was great to come back and win but a lot of those mistakes are what we have been seeing the past few years. If we come out next Monday night and show we have corrected those mistakes or most of them I will be really pleased. I kind of expect us to. But you never really went off the deep end and starting hating on the players. You were somewhat realistic but a bit negative, but that is okay. I watched the play on replay several times after kerrigan grabbed at kolbs shoulder he started to go down i assume to protect the ball . Clearly 1 if not 2 of his knees were down before Rocky even touched him . Do they have people who go back and review game film to make sure stats are handed out correctly? Early in the game (after the first Rex INT) Darnel Dockett walked over to the dream seats and started chanting "Grossman Sucks" and "Your QB Sucks" to the fans there. He was very loudly booed. About halfway through the game Cards #53 (Haggins?) started jawing with fans. Two young (10-12 yr old) skins fans started to talk back to him. The exchange went on for about 2 mins. People in here were giving up on their team only down 8 points with 10 minutes. I was reading things like this team is a bunch of losers and always will be. New season = same old redskins. Guys were calling Kyle an idoit and said his playcalling was horrible. And I will call people out on it. Sorry if you feel like what I said was unreasonable, but I don't. I guess I should just get used to that is the way it is in the game day thread. The minute this team goes down a point it is instant "the sky is falling" reactions.
