That's not as fun as you might think, I was out on the rim once before, and it was a lonely solitary existence, sure you get lots of resources from the brethren, but you're really too far out to take part in much of the tribe's fun. Although I do remember getting pretty big pretty fast with lots of villages all around me, where other players were bowing down to me at the greatness of my rule.......:paranoid:......ummmm what? Hehehehe without a doubt, I seriously couldn't spend it fast enough at times, and it forced me to upgrade to a premium account just to keep up, so yeah that part was fun. But, when we went to war I was pretty much stuck capturing the lowly villages around me. I remember the first time someone actually put up a fight against me, I hit him pretty hard and then I got an email and a couple waves in response, at which point I launched attacks from three of my other villages and captured his single village before his first attack landed. I know, i have done it before. If you are all alone and growing fast it's like putting a bullseye on your villages for the big aggressive tribes in the area. And if full fledged tribe war breaks out you can kiss your villages bye bye. I was thinking of just playing in a support role anyway. Not sure how the rules and gameplay are different, but i can have fun being a morale buster. I may not join anyway, depends how long i will be laid up in my house. I remember him playing in one of the performance rounds I was in years ago. I forgot his in-game call sign was though. I glad to say the game has passed me by. Having seen up close what guys like Thargaron and Jamm were capable of I don't have the dedication to relearn and rethink all that stuff. They had everything calculated down to a science. If you can't put the energy in, just build defenders, grow slow and be available to help here and there. And, no, I won't ever put that much energy into that game. Not when it's safer to let Symbol30's queen do what ever she wants and she'd never let me cover her up. Plus, she's different, she's a Battle Lord as well. In fact, if you remember Feya from ESL3 in W2 and the other ESL's from the other worlds, she is my gf in real life. She will be killing me for a lot of my Symbol30 remarks though.
