skinsfanno9
Is it my imagination or is this guy like totally out of shape? He looks like he was in serious need of some 5-hour energy drinks.
Diesel__44
1st and 2nd half. He was also extremely average all last year. You'd expect more from the 4th overall pick last year. He has a lot to prove.
gamecokskins703
idk, apparently he slimmed down this year. but still, the fact of the matter is that he had a terrible game. He needs to step it up, we all know shanny does not give a crap who you are, if you dont perform you will be benched or replaced. If he does not do well this year i think he risks being moved to the right side of the line
Saqs
He needs to step his game up regardless. Watching film of this game should make him want to forfeit his paycheck.
sempre_victrix
Williams looked like **** today. Grossman is lucky to be alive after that performance.
Art
Williams will be on the injury report with a knee. He was quite good until he hyper-extended it a little on that first sack he surrendered. After that he looked incapable of blocking. Don't be surprised if he misses a game, but I'd be stunned if they don't talk about his knee early tomorrow.
TSO
Pierre-Paul had his number, unfortunately. He tightened up against him on our last, extremely vital, TD drive though. He totally stuffed Pierre-Paul. He's gotta be more consistent and it's tough to understand why he isn't there, yet. I just think he'll get there... he's too talented. KCClybun
You know...I know he got flat out beat on two sacks...and that's pretty bad...but I don't think he looked dead or tired or out of shape. He just got out played. The fast guys are always going to get him. But yeah, he slimmed down, everyone says his conditioning is a lot better. He just got straight up schooled a couple times. TE#80
The problem is we don't have very much to replace him with. Also I think if you pull him anytime soon it damages the integrity of the line.
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
if hes got a knee issue its understandable. however id like to see a little more out of the 4th overall pick. hes shown how good he can be, id just like it be consistent. SemperFISkins
I think he is out of shape. Also, he is afraid of Jason Paul-Piere and has mentally lost to him. I noticed we didn't "chip" the DE on Williams side with a TE often (I think Cooley is still hurt) and Silverback was left alone to fight off Paul-Piere. FuriousD
Not sure what it is... he almost looked disinterested this afternoon. Pierre Paul mugged him that's for sure and he's only a first year player as well. Williams should be farther along than this....
NewCliche21
Not that an injury would make me happy, but I would be happiest if THAT is why he looked terrible today as opposed to just being bad.

Its Sad though that we are encouraged by an injury to explain away that trainwreck of performance. ---------- Post added September-11th-2011 at 08:38 PM ---------- Hmmm...That explains a lot. skinsfanno9
Honestly, I would prefer it was just Trent being out of shape. I heard nothing about Trent being injured. If he is, its not like we have massive depth on the line. If he's out of shape, at least he could work himself into shape.
Art
Watch the first sack he gave up. He jammed his knee, rolled over, laid on the ground and had to be helped up. Immediately thereafter he sucked. If he wasn't having stability issues to put him on those skates after that play, then we are going to have a long, painful season. WyomingRedskin
Crap......one game in and we are already testing our offensive line depth. Hello Mr. Locklear.....*gulp*
Skins4SB
What about switching Brown to LT and Trent to RT? Now that we have Brown signed for some years, we can have him play there for 2-3 years and try drafting another LT then.

hitmandm
Before Trent's combine he was projected as a second rounder. He's played like a second rounder since.
