Rep Allen West Says New Congress Should Prioritize Threat Of ‘Infiltration Of The Sharia Practice’ In U.S.

I just want to know what he intends to do about the Monsters Under the Bed.

They've been terrorizing people for a long time, and I believe it is their threat which should be taken seriously.

Allen West comes off as a fraud by jumping at the shadows of Sharia, and ignoring he very real threat that Monsters Under the Bed present every single night to millions of Americans in their own homes.

Before you know it, this soft stance will embolden other household Monsters, and we'll have the Boogieman enriching uranium in the closet.

Priorities!

Federal court blocks Oklahoma ban on Sharia

A federal appeals court has blocked an Oklahoma voter-approved measure barring state judges from considering Islamic and international law in their decisions.

The three-judge panel at the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an earlier injunction preventing State Question 755 from being certified until the free speech questions are resolved. The decision Tuesday allows a lawsuit brought by Islamic-American groups to move ahead to a bench trial.

"The proposed amendment discriminates among religions," said the judges. "The Oklahoma amendment specifically names the target of its discrimination. The only religious law mentioned in the amendment is Sharia law."

A federal judge last summer had issued a temporary restraining order in favor of the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which had sued to nullify the law completely.

The amendment would require Oklahoma courts to "rely on federal and state law when deciding cases" and "forbids courts from considering or using" either international law or Islamic religious law, known as Sharia, which the amendment defined as being based on the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed.

Allen West To Liberals: Get the Hell Out Of The U.S.

Speaking to a Lincoln Day Dinner in West Palm Beach for the Palm Beach County GOP, Rep. Allen West (R-Fla) fired off a humdinger of a line that within minutes drew recriminations from Democrats on Twitter.

"We need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, (audience boos) and my dear friend the chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain't on the table," West said. "Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America."

Following cheers, West added, "Yeah I said 'hell.'"

Moments after the quote was mentioned on Twitter, former Reid spokesman Jim Manley responded via his own Twitter feed: "Me to allen west. You first *******."

West: “Food Stamp President” Not “Race Code”

Florida Tea Party Congressman Allen West knows racism. Demonizing the Tea Party? Racist. Opposing him for calling a female colleague vile and “not a lady”? Racist. Calling himself a “modern-day Harriet Tubman” trying to help people off the “Democrat plantation”? Not racist.

So it’s not much of a shock to see West weighing in on former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich’s comments that President Barack Obama is a “food stamp president,” and deciding that nope, there wasn’t any sort of racist implications behind that at all.

“There is no race code. It’s a fact. Since President Obama has been in the Oval Office, you‘ve seen a 41 percent increase in the food stamp recipients in the United States of America..We have a president that’s making more American victims rather than victors.”

West may not be actually endorsing Gingrich, but his remarks send a clear signal to those who might be interested that Gingrich is someone he could support, which could be helpful for Gingrich with the primary at hand. Then again, West isn’t very popular, even among his own constituents.

Glad to see there are some people with enough courage to look after the best interests of our country without worrying about keeping up the facade of the liberal PC agenda. Take a look across the pond to see what Sharia is doing and some think there is no threat here? Mr. West is a hero in a world of dumbed down do-gooders who think being nice is the key to survival.

Frankly, we are a country under rule of law. We should repel ANY religious organizaton, and that includes Christians, that attempts to insert their religious tenets into our rule of law.

The Sharia law thing is just buzzwords for more fearmongering, right there with communists/socialists, homosexxxxuals, any race other than white, Saul Alinsky well you get the picture. That West, a black man, is stirring this crap up just blows my mind. He's a reactionary of the worst sort and hopefully his district sees fit to vote him out.

A hanging chad leaves benefit of the doubt: Next!

The sight on my TV screen leaves no doubt: when FL was initially called for Gore, the cameras happened to on in the Bush household watching the returns. When Gore was called, Poppy Bush said something Jeb who immediately got on a cell phone and made a call. The next thing we hear, FL is called for Bush. Don't ever tell me that FL wasn't fixed, what with the Republicans storming the Miami-Dade elections office and stopping counting by force and intimidation, and then the Supremes handing the (s)election to Bush over some lame "equal protection" decision that interfered with FL state law and their Supreme Court. I happened to have my domicile in FL at that time and voted in Miami-Dade and saw first hand what was going on. And I was in DC during Bush's inauguration when protestors outnumbered supporters and they stopped the motorcade at Freedom Square for over 45 minutes. We witnessed a cold coup. Then the illegal president started an illegal war, for which we are still fighting and paying for, long after he left to go back to Texas.

And as to the increase in food stamps, guess which demographic is the fasted growing in applying for and receiving food stamps: our MILITARY PERSONNEL. And that's shameful that we don't pay our voluntary troops enough to feel their families.

[edited to insert "other than" to the phrase "any race white"]

The NYTimes did the study that show'd Bush won. Whatever verdict that came out: Bush won no different than Santorum won Iowa. Neither will be known by the masses though as the stories cover up the vote count. http://www.nytimes.com/2001/11/12/politics/12VOTE.html
