armada58
Brandon Banks is electric. As a Redskins Fan, I have a real sense of excitement before each Kick Off and Punt. It's a feeling I haven't had since Brian Mitchell's prime. Its early, I know. I may be jumping the gun on this. However, I find myself on the edge of my seat during the kick. If I can see he's going to catch the punt and has a little space in front of him, I can feel him getting ready to break one. Devin Thomas's release has given this kid an tremendous opportunity to be our full time kick (kick-off & punts) returner. Not only that, he's the kind of returner that will scare opponents. Banks is the next Dante Hall. I'm really excited about him. Its really, really nice to have a specialist like him. We haven't had one in a LONG time. estrella117
agreed......... glad to see him make the most of his oppurtunity and basically tell everyone size means nothin as long as you have heart. Reminds me alot of D.Green with his attitude and te fact that he doesn't let size stop him from becoming a good football player!
Conn
****. The Cowboys just tied it, basically, with 4:00 left. I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but I had this tab open when it happened

G.A.C.O.L.B.
You all remember Antonio Brown? Banks is the anti-Antonio Brown. I used to get up with butterflies in my stomach waiting for Brown to do something amazingly ****ed up. It got to a point where I would literally leave the room whenever he was back there to take a punt. With Banks, on the other hand, I get up with butterflies in my stomach waiting for him to do something amazingly awesome. The guy is the real deal. And if (when) he starts taking it to the house on the regular he's going to be one of the stories of the NFL. He's just a unique, electrifying player. Brandon Banks???? oh, I thought this was a thread about Briana Banks? I am a little disappointed.
No_Pressure
He's a great player, but I'm just afraid of what happens when he takes a punt in front of a 270 pound guy like Mike Sellers and takes a solid hit while standing still. He might not just fumble, he might die or something. I love what he is able to do and he is very exciting, its just that he hasn't taken a very solid hit so far and I don't think it'll be pretty when he does...Brian Mitchell...heck he could give out some pretty good hits much less take them. dcthug
Gotta work this Kid into the offense for at least 2/4 plays a game. The guy is a game breaker or sure.
[[ghost]]
His long return that got called back was a wonder. The penalty that nullified that call was A) incorrect and didn't even effect the play. If he's got space, he'll light you up, plain and simply. Enter Apotheosis
Banks opted to make a return in at least one rather risky situation and remains a very serious fumble risk if he takes a direct hit or gets caught up in traffic with a lot of grasping arms, so I remain a bit nervous about him. However, there's no denying that he has unreal quickness and is capable of providing a major spark to the team every time he touches the ball. Rypien1191
He's gonna kill us at some point this year with a fumble, but I'll take one or two bad fumbles over the course of the year and a chance for a TD every time he touches the ball over an ARE running 10 yards sideways and falling down. I think his deal is being able to avoid those big hits with his speed. If a guy is fast enough to avoid being hit, he won't be hit. Just ask Deion. Meast21
I LOVE this guy. I feel like hes going to take it to the house everytime he touches the ball. Something I have never experienced as a Redskins fan and its about time we addressed this position.
lyon514
i'm all about Banks. I'm just afraid of his size. Saw him after today's game and he is just so small...like REALLY SMALL. But as long as he can avoid the big hit I'm all for having him.

Rocky52Mc
It's excellent to have Banks back there on returns. As long as he keeps the speed and hands he's all good. Maybe he'll be thrown into the offense every now and then, but in the battle of field position, he's been so much help.
SJValleySkinz
Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be a flash in the pan and we have our returner for the next few years. A lot of guys are fast, but Banks has acceleration that you just don't see every day.
cyfar
I'm giddy of the possibilities of what we could see with Banks. It really put a smile on my face when the Pack stopped kicking to him towards the end of the game. I can't remember last time we had something like that.
