  1. You mean you didn't buy Frodo and Jax as leaders of the West Ham firm?
  2. Watching the Donal McIntyre documentary "Hooligan". Very entertaining and informative. Sean Bean is an awesome narrator too.
  3. Ambrose would make a great "bad guy" face main eventer in my eyes. Too bad he'll probably have to turn heal at some point to push Reigns.
  4. They're not established enough as faces to directly participate but they could tell him they're not going to protect him and when the s hits the f he runs screaming from the ring. That or he could just do an opening segment with it and later on they come out and mock him or something. He loves to self depricate and admittedly I just want to see it.
  5. What are the chances of Kevin Hart coming out in a Shield get up? That'd be right up there with any guest appearance WWE has ever had.
  6. Him and Sean O'Hara could have had some great matches.
  7. Well I guess they're turning Ambrose tonight. I still say he could have been a babyface main eventer.
  8. I still think he needs Ambrose on the mic before he's solidified in the title picture. If he had Ambrose's mic skills he'd be a legend in waiting.
  9. They can't possibly leave Reigns without a mouthpiece can they? Ambrose should get more promos too and at the end of the day I'll go out on a limb and say he'll be a bigger babyface star than Reigns will.
  10. Forget Vince McMahon buying them out at this point Santino may be able to make a succsesfull bid.
  11. It was the Portuguese media I believe that coined that term in the first place after they won a couple of youth tourneys.
  12. Next time include a disclaimer if you post something and have rules concerning what is and what is not an acceptable response. That would however somewhat defeat the purpose of a message board. On the bright side you did help me remember what a fantastic player Paulo Sousa was.
  13. He was a genius in his prime. Imagine if he would have spent some of those years at Milan instead of Fiorentina.
  14. I've had Argentina for a long time for that same reason. They have been their own worst enemy for so long but if Aguero and Di Maria are on their game you basically have three unplayable players. I also have a hunch that France make it to the last 4 and Paul Pogba makes me hate life even more. Every time I see him play my blood boils. He'll see as much playing time as you and I will barring injury. Their defense is going to incredibly hard to crack but I think against the big boys their midfield gets neutralized and Hazard and Lukaku become isolated. If Hazard plays out of his socks they have a chance against the traditional powers.
  15. They also reached the Euro semi finals twice and at their twilight went to a World Cup semi final. Other than Rui Costa and Figo, the latter of which no current Belgian player will likely ever match, you had Paulo Sousa who was an underrated but excellent defensive midfielder that was a key cog for Dortmund and Juventus, (two powerhouses in the mid 90's) Fernando Couto was one of the best center backs in Europe for a period and Joao Pinto, who in today's climate would have got the heck out of the Portuguese league and made a name for himself in one of the big European clubs. The Belgians have some potential to fulfill before they're mentioned in the same breath with some of these names.
  16. Rui Costa was absolutely elite but he didn't play for one of the big clubs that all but sent special op team to Florence to kidnap him so he didn't get the recognition he deserves. If Hazard continues on the path he's on he'll be at Rui Costa's level. Smaller countries like Romania and Croatia have produced some fantastic players (and actually did something in a tournament) in the past so it's not something out of the ordinary. I'll be rooting for Belgium as long as they're not playing Argentina or England and they deserve a lot of credit for the way they've turned their football around but the hype is out of control at the moment. I can see them living up to it if for no other reason than they'll be incredibly hard to score against.
  17. A "golden generation" is Spain and Germany of recent years, Portugal's class of 1992 with Figo and Rui Costa, Giggs, Scholes and Beckham coming out of the same academy class, etc...Not one Belgian players is on this level yet so let's give them a chance to get there.
  18. Nothing against Belgium or their players but let's wait and see them in a tourny before they're golden. Januzaj has world class potential but he's not there yet.
  19. Turkish guy on guy oil wrestling > TNA. I never thought the final months of WCW could be recreated but they're coming pretty close.
  20. If Sterling is going to Roy Keane someone he should wait until he plays a nation with a United player that's actually useful.
  21. The Toulon U21 final is turning out to be a cracking game. Lucas Evangelista and Lucas Silva look like really good prospects for Brazil.
  22. Maybe there's something to not buying English players simply on the basis of them being English. City and Chelsea are much more selective in this department and they both seem to be doing alright. Ashley Young and Phil Jones should not have cost more than Arturo Vidal.
