Question: Has Puke Rookie Dez Bryant Caught A Pass In The Preseason?

I keep looking for his stats, and all I see is ZERO!

Sure looks like trading Crayton was a good move...:rotflmao:

Here's what the pukes have: They gave up on a guy who averaged 42 catches and 5 TDs over the last 4 years for Ogletree (7 NFL catches), Hurd (who might be let go) and Jesse Holley (who?)!!

With the injury potential of Williams and Austin, that's some weak sauce replacements.

Everyone in the Dallas camp says Dez is ready for the opener in DC. It is just the preseason, ya know.

As far as trading Crayton, he wanted out. He was a pain in the ass and demanded a trade when they drafted Bryant. He would be a 4th WR, back-up punt returner. Kind of steep price of $2 million for that.

And your statement of "injury potential" for Austin and Williams - come on, bro, everyone has injury potential. They'll be fine at WR if Romo sits to pee can stay on his feet.

Williams hasn't played 16 games since 2006. His games started in the last three years: 13, 7, and 4.

Austin missed games in 2008 and was nicked late in 2009. He's a guy who's going to miss games during his career.

And, there's this:

Dez didn't play in preseason...

Ahhh, must be new here.

Here is how things go.

  1. TR1 make a statement about Dallas
  2. Dallas fans come to the argue the fact
  3. TR1 argues back
  4. Dallas fan ignores fact
  5. Redskin fan ignores fact
  6. Topic gets changed to Tony Romo sits to pee, Donovan McNabb, Shanahan, Wade are something way off topic.
  7. Thread quietly ends.
  8. The End.

To expect a rookie WR to blow up or be consistent for Game 1 is pathetic.

To expect a rookie WR who hasn't played one preseason snap to be effective is pathetic.

To expect a rooke WR who has played 3 football games (in college) in the last 2+ years to contribute anything this weekend is pathetic.

Typical Dallas media propaganda. Dez Bryant isn't scarring anyone Sept. 12th.

I'm pretty sure that was his point lol ...that the Cowboys got rid of a productive player and are gonna have to rely on an untested rookie. The pressure for 1st round rookies to produce is already high. So the presure for Bryant to produce is gonna be even higher now...

Just another reason why Dallas will win the Super Bowl!!!

Why do we even play the games?

Sprinkle in a few :rotflmao: and that about covers it.

For the record, you may want to learn to read a stat sheet. The 7 and 4 were in the same year, but with different teams. So the last 3 years he started 12, 11, 15. Not so bad.

Not to mention you're going to use the SI Cover Jinx????? :ols::ols::ols::ols::ols::ols:

Dude, seriously? :ols::ols::ols::ols::ols::ols::ols::ols::ols::ols::ols:

Definitely a typical Dallas fan argument. The more smilies, the better your point!!!! . . . right?

YOU may want to learn to read a stat sheet before ridiculing anyone else about doing the same...the last three years Williams has started 13, 11 and 12 games, not 12, 11 and 15. And it still makes tr1's point about RW not playing an entire season since 2006.

My mistake. It was a typo. Clearly, tr1 just didn't know how to read the stats.

Yours wasn't a "typo"...you just listed the number of games Williams played in last year instead of the number of games Williams started...that was beyond obvious when I read his stat sheet. You looked at the wrong column. "13" and "15" aren't gonna be mistaken for one another when you type lol...
