I mean don't get me wrong i thought it was at about an 85% chance the US would win this game, japan just looks more technically sound just like when you see the US men's national team play one of the better sides from Europe. They isn't a ton of space. Their first goal wasn't off a clean run and their second was an own goal. The US is capitalizing on set pieces as well.
