Seabee1973
From Congress.ORG http://www.congress.org/congressorg/bio/userletter/?letter_id=5050654316&content_dir=congressorg Word of the Day: Dhimmitude Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to islam. Read more at the link above first intoduced to the world in 82 then to the western world in 83 I was dissapointed to find out someone used this word way back in 2003

SkinsHokieFan
The ObamaCare bill is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia muslim diktat in the United States. Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I, Joe/Jane Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize muslims. Period. This is Dhimmitude. Woo-hoo! I am exempt!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! :ols::ols: :groupwave:
Riggo-toni
So, is there an exemption in there for Christian Scientists, or any of the far-out Christian cults who don't believe in medicine?
DjTj
Woo-hoo! I am exempt!!!YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Not so fast, first-born of Abraham ... It looks like the Amish are probably going to be off the hook, but Muslims will have to fight through the courts to get an exception.http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/exemptions.asp I think your chances of getting an exemption are pretty low if you and your parents currently have health insurance right now ... if there is a mosque or a particularly sect where the entire congregation has been refusing to buy health insurance, then they will probably have a much better case. So, is there an exemption in there for Christian Scientists, or any of the far-out Christian cults who don't believe in medicine?Medicare pays for Christian Science nursing facilities, so I would assume that Obamacare will treat the Christian Scientists the same way - requiring them to carry insurance but allowing them to use their own facilities for treatment.http://www.ncscd.com/medicare.htm

G.A.C.O.L.B.
I don't get how seemingly reasonable people can get sucked into stuff like this. I mean I understand when partisian media people push it cause they're just doing schtick and that pays the bills. But what kind of world do you have to think you live in to believe that this idea is viable and real?
DCSaints_fan
Why would Amish be exempt? i thought they used hospitals when necessary.

Burgold
I'd give Seabee the benefit of the doubt. He may have done what I sometimes do when in a troublemaking mood. Find a curious fact, but then launch it in a way that introduces while prodding the hornet's nest so he can enjoy all the screaming and flailing. In other words, I don't think he is really saying that Reverend Wright is Obama's secret Muslim Master Mentor. But if it's not a joke, you have to begin to decide whether helping the ill is really about socialism and communism or the first step towards turning this nation into a radical islamic nation. I don't think it can be both.
Skin'Em84
Screw the Islamic part, we should just be a radical nation.

Burgold
I would imagine thought that America would popularize the very sheer or transparent burka. Right now, designers everywhere are working hard to make the burka sexy.
Corcaigh
Woo-hoo! I am exempt!!! And if you Muslims are not gambling and buying lottery tickets that means the dumb White Christians are bearing a disproportionate share of the funds that the state lottery raises.
