ceviker
That's right. 8 in a row or we don't go. If we win out, we'll be at 10-6 and be prime for a playoff spot. We'd be 4-2 in the NFCE and have a tie-break on the Pukes. I mean really, we're right where we want to be. Look at our ridic. easy schedule coming up: vs. DEN: Are you kidding me? They are falling downhill fast. Kyle Orton is a QB with a pornstache - recipe for disaster. Skins win easy, 37-14. @ DAL: Miles Austin may be running wild, but he's never been given a 15 yard cushion before. Rogers will be the first to do so and he will have so much space he won't know what to do with it. Levi Jones was a higher overall draft pick than Demarcus Ware and thus will dominate him. 27-13 skins. @ PHI: Skins want revenge and they will get it. 4 days after turkey day the skins will still be hungry and eagles are close to turkeys. We will wear Cleveland browns uniforms to trick Vick into thinking we are indeed dogs and draw 15-yard penalties all day for illegal dog fighting attempts. Game will be decided by war of the Westbrooks and since Brian will most likely get knocked out by Fletcher's knee, this one is a no contest. 17-0 skins. vs NO: Its proven the Saints can't win in Washington and are still haunted by the Ricky Williams trade. The Aints are 0-1 in DC in the past two years. If that's not a trend, I don't know what is. Brunell will always be a skin and will use his jedi noodle-arm tricks on Bress. Gregg Williams loses his second g after this beat down. 53-24 skins. @ Oak: This proves to be the toughest test for the skins since Oakland is eerily similar to the powerhouses Detroit, Carolina and KC. The two most impressive owners in professional sports witness the two best quarterbacks in the league battle for least turnovers. Campbell's 4 fumbles bests Russell's 5 picks and skins win 3-2. vs NYG: By this point, the Giants will clearly be 5-8 and will be looking to tank the rest of the year to draft a franchise QB to replace the only position that they need help in. Laron Landry will continue his machine like tackling in his continued dominance over Brandon Jacobs. Skins win 31-14 vs DAL: Its December and we're playing Tony Romo sits to pee - do I really need to say more? 4 pick six's result in a 28-0 victory. @ SD: Norv makes this game interesting by signing Michael Westbrook and Gustave Frerotte before the game. We counter by sending Stephen Davis and a padded cement wall over to the SD sidelines. Skins win 17-3 and win the NFC East.

Annonymous Source
What a believable plan, and you know we just let those other 6 teams win so we could catch everyone else off guard! For orchestrating this brilliant plan Cerrato wins executive of the year, and gets recognized for his amazing brilliance. Step 1...Lose to Detroit Step 2...????? Step 3...Playoffs
HRNY4ZRNY
I like your post. Our playoffs starts Sunday. I like it. It will be our only chance to have a playoff type of feeling. 12 wins in a row to win a Superbowl.

redskins55
Dude I've been telling everyone this all season. See we started last season at 6-2 and ended 2-6. We started this season 2-6 so obviously we're setting things up to at least be 6-2 to end the season! 8-8 and we win the division. ok ok just here me out.... Dallas starts 6-2 just like we did, but they also end 2-6 just like we did last year! 8-8 NYG- They are going to win just 2 more games home for ATL and Dal at home. 7-9 Phi- They are 5-3 they will end the season 3-5 being beat by us and including a loss at home to the 49ers. 8-8. Redskins get the tie breaker over Dallas head to Head and over the Eagles better conference record! And this is if stuff doesn't go as planned. If it goes as planed we'll be 10-6 and won't need tie breakers! Finally someone who has a clue around here!
TSO
I'm being tongue-in-cheek? I don't know, you tell me: We're 2-6 right now. Toughest schedule in the NFL coming up. I assume you all will agree that we're not winning out and thus, not making playoffs. Assuming you agree with that, what's the better scenario?1. Lose out, finish 2-14, be a complete embarassment and practically guarantee change everywhere and a top 3 pick 2. Win several games and gain "momentum", leaving the door possibly open for JC or Zorn or even Vinny to come back next year since we finished strong? I can't really root for the Skins to lose. Its not really in my nature. But at this point, its the best thing for this team. If we end up winning 5-7 games, I think there is a possibility that we won't go into blow-up mode. And that is the worst possible outcome. Thoughts? I agree 100%. Why not put Andre Woodson back there? The season is absolutely over at this point. We're not going to win out this season, that is a fact and even if we only lose once, 9-7 is most likely not going to get us in. I say put in all the rookies/young guys, including Woodson. Will he play worse than JC? Probably. But what if he looks like he might have potential? One thing is for certain - we'll never find out with him on the practice squad. <sigh> Does anyone who supports Campbell watch football?A team can only win with Campbell as QB if EVERYTHING else is perfect. A la Trent Dilfer and the Ravens. ......... There are too many negative threads here (yes, I know I'm the culprit of several of them). So let's do what Redskins fans do best - get excited about next year! I'd like to see what all of you would do to help this team. Couple simple things to keep in mind I ask: ......... Well that's the hard thing, right. Most of us can't root for the Skins to lose, myself included. But you can't argue its not better for the franchise if we do lose. Its like you have a kid who's in sheer agony. You know he's going to die and its better if you pull the trigger than watch him suffer and end up with the same fate. But can you do it? Ok, that's a bit extreme but this is extreme skins after all. You, being positive about this season?:hysterical::hysterical:
