Gart Monk
During the big run, Mike Sellers had his chance to escort Portis all the way to the house and he pooped out. Could a TD here have won the game? Thoughts???
RenegadeTK
yeah agreed. i dont know why he wouldnt try to throw a legit block instead of trying to just run alongside CP. terrible...
RyansRangers
Agreed but Portis should have not slowed down and maybe made a cut move..
NicholSkin
Sellers fell on his face and collected more money than I'll see in years. Congrats!
Gregpeck99
I blame CP ... he should have cut to the middle of field and would have scored easily ... instead he stumbled as usual and fell short.

Let me get this straight...You Blame Cp for RUNNING 80 yards down feild with a lead blocker missing his block ..and basically was just in CP way:doh::doh: When i seen the run i knew some fan will try to put blame on CP..SMFH hate is a crazy drug....Is it because you made a sig bet or somthing?that CP cant have a run bigger than 20yrds:doh: New QB came in CP breaks a 80 yrds run...I belive someone on here said that this would happen:doh:
HailToTheRedskins14
How about they both deserve blame? Does anyone think there's just one player here and there that causes this team to fail? They all suck.
Hunter_R
Seller always has, and always will suck. He's the last guy you want touching the ball in short yardage situations. Sure, he's huge, but he loses all that power because the idiot jumps all the time. He's a poor receiver. His one saving grace was blocking, but he's not so hot at that this season. DMVSkins
Portis was playing with a hurt ankle supposedly so he couldn't make sharp cuts
bobisimo
I don't "blame" Portis for the offensive highlight of the day, and at the very least putting us into scoring position, but I do believe he could have scored with a decent move or two. After all he did on the run, a score to finish it off was the easiest part. But the bigger question is if it would have mattered if he scored, and I tend to think no. :\
waldo2173
I blame CP ... he should have cut to the middle of field and would have scored easily ... instead he stumbled as usual and fell short. I agree. Sellars did the right thing. If he throws a block then he is risking a block in the back. Instead keep shielding off the player and Portis should have cut back to middle of field for an easy TD. This time Sellars should tell the coaches to bench CP since he didnt do his job well. If i met any of these redskins fan who really believe what that say, i would punch each of you in the tempo. Sellers did all he can do. Portis should have cut back inside and run across the field. That run wasn't even about portis, yea he got 70+ yards, but who can't if NOONE is near you. You know portis suck when its a 2 v 1. Sellers shielded the defender, portis just didn't make a play. Simple as that.
Jofizz
Yeah, ok, blame Portis who busts off a 79 yard run on a bum ankle. Stay on your damn feet and lead the way into the end-zone. 45 dove into the defender which did absolutely nothing.

zCommander
During the big run, Mike Sellers had his chance to escort Portis all the way to the house and he pooped out. Could a TD here have won the game? Thoughts??? Incorrect!!! Portis pushed Sellers to the ground with his right hand at the end of the run instead of just running to his left. This one is on CP and not on Sellers. Sorry.
Leonard Washington
sellers should have at the very least stayed on his feet and shielded the guy. if he was going to block him, he should have put him on the ground. i blame sellers.
hawaiiskins
Although maybe it was not Sellers "fault" that CP did not score, he is not the same FB that he was.
Vooskin
That's totally clinton portis's fault. As usual and as I have said a million times, clinton portis cannot beat anyone one on one in the open field. He had a blocker and clear field in front of him, the guy who tackled him was a LB I think, thats pretty embarrassing. Please get mason out there. Wyndorf25
I blame Portis on that run for not scoring a TD. He needs to be able to cut it back towards the center of the field and he would have scored. Too many times I see Portis with tunnel vision and then run out of gas on the few long runs that he has had over the last few years. (the long run vs the Titans a few years ago comes to mind). HailToTheRedskins14
If Portis had tried to run to the wide side of the field, that guy would've just ran him down. It's sad that Portis has lost multiple steps and Sellers has as well. They're both past their prime.
Destino
You people are smoking some strong stuff. It is not the lead blockers job to escort the running back. The running back is supposed to be faster than the lead blocker. Seller's job was to spring portis, HE DID THAT. Portis' out of shape slow ass that doesn't practice couldn't run away from a blocked man and make a play. Instead he just hid behind Sellers. You really think any other running back in this league that is respected would have done that?! The only reason Portis had that run at all was because of Sellers, without him leading the way the stumbling clown would have gone down early.
