ixcuincle
Spelling of thread is hilarious. "Wildcard" lmao Sorry ...but these misspellings are hilarious. We should give it a shot though. Rest of the NFL is doing that ****. Don't want to be "odd man out"

Karl W
I notice how jimbo zorny loves running in the redzone. Attempted just 3 passes in the end zone sunday (2 campbells dropped td passes, one CP to coolmeister). How about we run the wildcat? have randle el or portis taking the direct snap? hell even campbell has the power and speed to run wildcat? Actually, according to the front page of the WashPo sports section this morning, we attempted 5 passes in the red zone, and made 1.
SonOfWashington
Maybe we could stick Malcomb at QB in the wildcard and run it all the way to the paloffs. :1stplace:
terpfan
We need less trickeration (ie. HB passes) not more.
MadMonkey
What I want to know is does Zorn carry the wildcard in his back pocket waiting to throw it out on the field or do we just send it to the league office sorta like a get out of jail free card? You might be on to something because 2 campbells would probably be better than 1 Jason Campbell

CjSuAvE22
No lets bring in Collins....so he can run the offense in the redzone....lets use a 2 qb system campbell can lead the team between the 20's and collins can come in inside the redzone...maybe he will be able to complete fades to M&M. No better yet, lets have Campbell AND Collins in the redzone, and have them throw back and forth between each other to confuse the D. Eventually Malcomb will be open, and BAM! Oh yeah, we should let Snyder run the redzone O, cause he really likes to take chances and he would be a super good fit for our goaline playcalling! sknsrbck26
Or....how about this...we actually pass to one of tall WR's...or Cooley. That makes more sense to me.

Exactly, this is why we should never have cut Mix. Mix was tall, RZ TDs would have been automatic.

akorn22
forget the wildcat. it's stupid. the eagles ran the wildcat numerous times against the saints and it got them nowhere. and the eagles are way more equipped to run the wildcat then we are. the wildcat plays didn;t benefit them any more then normal runs would have. theivorhick
So, um, when one runs this wildcard offense, does the team substitute a play they wanted with a play that didn't work? Sounds like a winner to me!!
S.T.real,lights,out
I know everyone is being a **** about you putting wildcard. I dont think i've ever watched a more exciting 'O' than last night's Dolphins 'O'. I think how they filter guys on and off the field is amazing. We could never run something like that b/c our backs are way too slow. Brown and Williams are flying around out there. I mean as soon as the get the ball they are gone. No stutter steps, and if something isn't there they put their head down and get what they can. I just can't believe how much faster the Dolphins of all teams look compared to us.
