Capt. Kaos
What do the car guys think? We just got one on the lot that I work at and I'm curious to hear from people off the lot.
#98QBKiller
From looks alone, I think it's pretty sharp. Performance is another topic though.
Stophovr6
They look cool but i don't think I'd ever get one.
hockeysc23
Not bad. Too boxy for my tastes. I'd take one but wish they would've done a better job on fuel economy. Yes I know its a muscle car but gas isnt getting any cheaper. I have seen about 10 last week around NOVA. Don't know if people rushed out to get them or Camaro is handing them out for people to test drive but they were everywhere.
twa
My wife wants one bad,I think they are overpriced and over hyped. Who wins? When will the dealer stock catch up to demand in your opinion?

AsburySkinsFan
I love it, I'm just disappointed that it took them 5 years from the time they unveiled it to get the thing on the road, and since that time both Ford and Dodge took the design cues from the Camaro and released their own cars. Chevy needed this on the road 2 years ago.

Stew
I can get you one of those off my other lot if you'd like What kind of price tag for something other then the base stock model? I dont even know what kind of packages they offer. I love the Challenger though, very clean.
The 12th Commandment
You can do side by side comparisons here It womps on the Mustang all the way around except a little in price and while the Challenger is on the same level performance wise, it runs about 9K more. HSW
I have outgrown 2-door sport cars. I like the ease of use of 4-door sedans now.

Commander PK
I posted this in the other recent car thread, but I think it's a very nice looking car. Interior is a little too small for my tastes these days, but the new Camaro is definitely a step in the right direction for GM. All Jokes aside, the V-6 has 300 hp, and gets 0-60 in six seconds, which is comparable to the 4th Generation SS. The V-6 is no longer a throw away, and should be seriously considered by any potential buyer. Even though it's not a 400 hp car, that's still PLENTY fast. corsair_joe
It's gas mileage actually isn't that bad for what it is. I'd get one if I were ready to shop for a new car.
HOF44
Would have to see it in person. I love the Challenger lines, but when I saw one, it looked to big to me. I'll have to see one of these on the road to say for sure. The pic sure does look nice though.
Destino
I love it. The gas mileage versus horse power of the V6 is insane. Love the transmission they put in it especially compared to the dodge challenger. I do agree the challenger looks better though. I would get the V6. The mileage is good enough and 0-60 in 6.1 is fast enough to be fun. It's a heavy **** of a car but the engine is almost as powerful as the Mustang V8 with far better fuel economy. SkinsBry
It's ok, I'm a huge fan of the 1st gen. Camaro and would rather one of those. If I could afford any of the new pony cars, it would be the Challenger, it just looks so awesome. Actually I think the Challenger is the best looking of any new car on the road right now.
