Well, all CNN had was the quote from the ex-CIA guy saying they were taking over, but one of the analysts on their program said it probably was not major but likely a new bunch of clerics taking over with the backing of the military. Oh well.....

I think they'd be more likely to say "Forget tear gas and clubs, lets get out the heavy automatic live rounds and artillery".
