Which is surprising, because Muslims shouldn't be shaving to begin with

:movefast:

Unless he finished taking flight lessons.

There are exceptions (Guess you guys never encountered the Nation of Islam selling beanpies in the area, which I used to stock up on before deploying).

But the things I am talking about along with this thread about Obama bowing, is the symptom to the bigger problem that you and those of your ilk in the tailgate have. You take insignificant things (bowing) and draw conclusions off of it that are assanine at best. How in the hell can bowing make Obama seem weak if holding hands with the same king didn't? That's my beef with guys of your ilk. Yoiu want to cry socialism with Obama, when we have had socialist type programs in place long before Obama took office.

And I will say it again, IMO you guys are scared of Obama.

Ok WHATEVER!!

For someone who is constantly whining and ****ing about the first perceived personal insult I find it hilarious that you are calling other people "too slow".

You've been constantly called out for making up things and stating "facts" that are nothing more than your biased opinions on everything from Obama's helicopter order (that were ordered under the Bush administration) to ****ing and crying about stickers in hospitals and a childrens movie trying to brainwash them to (*gasp*) take care of the earth and environment.

I've said before that I think you're probably a very decent person but when you throw out insults like this you deserve to be called on it and one day you might learn how ridiculous the bull**** you spew actually is.

Sorry dude, but you need to shut your yap!! He was calling me out on things that didn't even have to do with this particular thread, and going off on some tangant. I didn't start it, he did.

He was also accusing me of things I never said in this thread. If someone is going to call me out, than at least be factual and not make **** up....I think you would agree with that if nothing else :)

Get over yourself. I usually skip over your posts b/c they're terrible, as I did in this case. It was general commentary.

Oh ok man. I'll remember to use one of your posts to slam something and CLAIM it wasn't personal. sounds really logical  You deserve on of these too.

Here is my take on the situation. Obama is perhaps the biggest puss we will ever see as a president, who's only interested in his own popularity. Why did obama not go to normandy for the 65th anniversary of D-Day? I'll tell you why, because the focus will be on the soldiers who fought that day and not on him. Obama is showing his true colors and soon enough he will be exposed for the fraud that he is.

:hysterical: This pretty much sums up the thread.

So let me understand this correctly - you are upset that Obama did NOT go to the 65th anniversary of D-Day.

D-day was June 6, 1944. It is currently April. The anniversary has not happened yet.....

Priceless.

To make this better, Obama is planning on going in June (when the anniversary actually is)....

President Obama to visit Normandy beaches for D-Day 65th anniversary ceremonies

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2009/03/26/2009-03-26_president_obama_to_visit_normandy_beache.html

So to recap. You are upset that Obama did not attend an event already that has not happened yet in time but is planning on going to in the future. Gotcha. Good stuff buddy.

I meant to say that he rejected an invitation from president Sarkozy the week of the g-20 summit. According to reports, he did not want to offend the Germans. Thanks for clearing that up. Jeez, you're worse than my medical transcriptionist. By the way, its still up in the air about his trip in June. Break time is up, I have to get back to my paper. I have a conference in the morning.

I'm thinking of going through it on the annual spring cleaning/looneytune roundup and send a bunch of the resident goofwads (chosen from the moderately infested to terminal cases) camping during the summer.

It might do wonders for their mental health to get away from the ole keyboard and get some sunshine. I mean real sunshine, not like the imaginary stuff they lie about when they pretend to have a life outside of the forum. :silly:

All qualified candidates will be happily seated aboard the Magic (short) Bus, be they right-wing whackjob or left-wing looney, religious zealot or atheistic *******, gay, straight, flexible, or confused, and without regard to race, ethnicity, or age (chronologcial or emotional). :D

Unfortunately, the list right now looks over-populated by a certain demographic group.

And since we encourage diversity, I may hold off a bit and see if things equalize. :)

Constantly huh?? Care to recall that statement?? Or do you want to suffer from the same symptom you relate to me??

You've been constantly called out for making up things and stating "facts" that are nothing more than your biased opinions on everything from Obama's helicopter order (that were ordered under the Bush administration) to ****ing and crying about stickers in hospitals and a childrens movie trying to brainwash them to (*gasp*) take care of the earth and environment.

Care to rethink that one too?? If you can find anywhere I have stated something as FACT, not opinion, but as FACT, that was wrong I will apologize. What's gauling, is that you are allowed to have your opinion, but anything that opposes that opinion is suddenly labeled right wingnut loon.

I am curious......how is talking about children or adults defacing a hospital wit free stickers not factual. How is sharing my OPINION about a horrible enviromental movie NOT MY OPINION and fact??

I've said before that I think you're probably a very decent person but when you throw out insults like this you deserve to be called on it and one day you might learn how ridiculous the bull**** you spew actually is.

I throw insults...........:rotflmao: You my friend are one to talk. On almost every post you insult me or someone else who you don't agree with. pot I'd like you to meet kettle.

Let me explain what happened. I responded to a post in which the gentleman flung accusations at me that were not true. he jumped into a conversation between me and another where he started accusing me of stuff I never said.

So, I suppose from your tyraid I am suppose to just sit there and let him do it, since my opinions are so far gone I deserve to be accused of things I didn't do...right?

What is funny here, is that I treat people far better on this board than I am treated by a mile!!!! people on this board have no self-control. They believe that sharing their opinions includes putting opposing views down. Making fun of people who they disagree with and badmouthing others. Than to add insult to injury, call out those who are fed up with that kind of treatment and lash out, when that's all they pretty much do to others!! Yes that includes you.

Lastly, why are the people who oppose your viewpoint the only ones who have to back up their claims with proof??

UPDATE:

How low will he go? Obama gives Japan's Emperor Akihito a wow bow

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/11/obama-emperor-akihito-japan.html

This photo will get Democrat President Obama a lot of approving nods in Japan this weekend, especially among the older generation of Japanese who still pay attention to the royal family living in its downtown castle. Very low bows like this are a sign of great respect and deference for a superior.

To some in the United States, however, an upright handshake might have looked better. Remember Michelle Obama casually patting Britain's Queen Elizabeth on the back during their Buckingham Palace visit? ..............

My question is this...

Is it OK for Obama to Pick and Choose who he will bow down to?

He bows to a Saudi King (and denies it)

He DOESN'T bow to the Queen of England

He bows down to the Emperor of Japan

Is this a plan?......Is it Random?....Should it be?

At the very least it seems inconsistent.......Denying it - Not doing it - Doing it

America's royalty tends to make movies and get bad reviews and lots of money as a sign of respect.

He shows respect to the leader of another country and you have a problem with it? No one from Japan says anything when the leader comes to the White House and holds hands with the Pres.

Apparently you don't know that lowering your head to another person is a sign of respect in the Asain culture.

I could go into what Bush did with the Saudi Prince...but I don't want too. But please, ask me to do so.

Then why did he NOT show respect to the Queen of England?....you missed that

And its a sign of Superiority...you missed that also

Obama is a head of state....not a SUBJECT

My point in the update is to show inconistency in Obamas Protocol

Seriously, Does Obama's staff just flip a coin?

Because the Queen of England isn't of any power, I guess. Visiting her is a courtesy .. like visiting a museum.

What problem is this lack of consistency you see causing? He's incredibly popular around the world, and other leaders seem to be enamored of him as well.

You're making much out of nothing.

Bowing

Bowing (also called stooping) is the act of lowering the torso and head as a social gesture in direction to another person or symbol. It is most prominent in Asian cultures but it is also typical of nobility and aristocracy in many countries and distinctively in Europe. Sometimes the gesture may be limited to lowering the head. It is especially prominent in China, Korea, India, and Japan where it may be executed standing or kneeling

Your point is that you don't really have a point. He didn't show respect to the Queen of England?

He gave her an IPOD and Michelle hugged and kissed her. If that isn't respect I don't what is.

Ipod......with his speeches...that was classy

Anyway

At least we agree that Snyder needs to feel a boycott.

Here is a map of Asia. If you squint your eyes and move back and forth from the screen (ever seen those magic eye books) Saudi Arabia will appear in Asia

I think bowing to anyone is a sign of respect or loyalty. Even if that might bother you, I can promise that the rest of the world knows that America is by far the biggest and baddest nation on the planet.

I would rather get an IPOD than a bow. What would you like? A bow or an IPOD.

And there isn't anyone out there who is a threat to us. Why do you think terrorism cells formed? There isn't a single country that can **** with us.

I don't mean to be a dick to you, but this is just funny to me.
